- After a wet and wild practice forced some course revisions, racers tackled 4 stages at today's Michelin Tyres EWS Loudenvielle Round 5. With morning sun drying out greasy, technical tracks and one of the tightest title races in history in both the men's and women's fields, we've got quite the race on our hands!

A huge congratulations to our winners at Michelin EWS Rd 5 Loudenvielle, Jack Moir and Hattie Harnden. Jack breaks the stalemate with Richie, for once winning the debut race of the double rounds and securing vital points in their tighter-than-ever title race whilst leading the Canyon Collective to the top step of the teams battle once again. Harriet Harnden backs up her debut win with another one straight afterwards, proving that she's a new force to be reckoned with in Enduro. At just 20 years old, is this the beginning of a new era?

Congratulations to Hattie Harnden and Jack Moir for victory at Round 5 here in the Pyrenees. Keep an eye out for more EWS action from Loudenvielle with the Pro Stage on Saturday, followed by more Highlights of Round 6 on Sunday.
Would love to see Blake and Neil do a stage for team GMBN
Great video! Please, do not spoil the results - it's much more entertaining not knowing what would happen.
Congrats Moi Moi
PARTY BOI AND BORGES on the top aswell
Good Run!
Congratulations Canyon
Somebody call the fire brigades quick! The EWS is on fire this year! I think this is definitely a sign EWS is maturing well, as organization improves the race becomes more and more serious and the teams are really pushing to stay on top. Well done to both the racers (and their teams) and the organizers!
Glad you're enjoying it Enrico! It's an unreal season so far... so close 🤘
A good days racing 👍
Welcome to my hometown Neil!
Hattie was 20 seconds quicker on the final stage; hell, that's insane.....
Really wild right! Absolutely smashed it
There's a vid of the previous day practice on YT of a fellow (Gavin Carroll) trying to follow Jack with the Kev Cam down stage 5 in biblical rain
Absolutely nailed it!
ohhh!! this was fast lads!! thanks!
Moi Moi 💪🏻🇦🇺
Go Moi Moi.....smashed it 🤘
Love this coverage! Great to see Hattie claim another win :)
More to come!
Aussie Aussie Aussie, Moir Moir Moir
What a race!
I love it!
Nice and very challenging trail to ride...
Gwaan Hattie!! 🇬🇧 Scary form from Moir, loving the coverage, the more the better! 🤙
Cheers Tom!
Congrats to the new podium faces like Moir and Miquel. Congrats to Noga, you really deserve this! Anybody else wondering where Sam is!!??
I guess at home down under, doing only national races. Aparently it is a nightmare to travel to Australia from abroad, even for Australians, due to their very strickt covid restrictions.
YEaaaaaah I've been waiting for this
Thanks for waiting! Enjoy 🤘
Yeh me too I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a notification so quick lol
jack moir !!!
Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi oi oi! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🔥💪🥊
Jack taking it all in his stride.
Beautiful tracks, nice coverage. Not sure if it's the way the coverage is being put together, or my getting more used to enduro, but I'm getting much more sense of the difference between DH and enduro. You're only counting the downhill run times in both cases, but enduro has much more variety, and as a rider you have to pace yourself more. Based on the recent DH races I've seen, my main thought is how many of the DH track sections would literally kill me!
Exactly right Eliot. We have a few explainers on the channel to help with the format but you've got the basics! We're glad you're enjoying watching the racing 🤘
What about results of particular stage ?? there's only times overall after each stage. That's weak imo
Can someone explain to me why the Riders dont wear Knee and Elbow Pads on Practice Run and some Race Run?
2:02 - where did that bike end up?
I am here
Why were there only 4 stages afterall?
There was a bit of a rainstorm in practice yesterday which turned two of them into slip and slides. The trail crew will be hard at work on them right now to make them enjoyable again and fingers crossed they can be included in round 6 this weekend!
Whilst I'm happy another Aussie is leading the way, I can't help but wonder where old mate Sam Hill is????
Not quite firing on all cylinders this season...YET! Never write that guy off 🤘
@@gmbn Look at what he did in Champery in 2007. That 3rd place proves you can never write him off.
A little punishment.
Ayo lasts races coverage was way better.
Not the greatest highlights video to be honest. Only 15 mins to show the entire day, with limited footage of riders on track. Just feels like it's been rushed together to get it out the door quickly.
We're stoked to get same day highlights from the team! They work super hard on these every time and we're always blown away by the quality. We'll pass on feedback. Thanks for watching 🤘
yeah agree, I'm a long time follower and watcher of the EWS highlights and I think this demand for getting the video out same day is resulting in it being too rushed. I also wish they would show the stage results for the last stage, what the hell happened on that last stage for the women some massive movements!
Agree. The last rounds highlights where head and shoulders above this rounds. No onboard videos at all which really made the last video exciting.
Give them a break, it's not downhill!
Think you’re being a bit precious. If you don’t like it so somewhere else to watch it
Rude must want wanna punch Moir in the head at this point. there's just no beating the guy.
O
Not sure why they keep showing the same footage for different stages, lame.
