- Loudenvielle Peyragudes hosted the penultimate round of the UCI Enduro World Cup, and what a show it put on! Enduro riders enjoyed prime conditions for the five-stage, 38km epic, with racing brought forward a day in order to miss a storm due to roll into the French venue late on Saturday afternoon.
Tight times and full gas racing were the story of the day, with new faces, comebacks, and faultless performances all playing part in what was a truly epic UCI Enduro World Cup!

No mention of what really happened with Jack Moir in the last stage, some people had cut through the tape on the inside so there was tyre marks and no tape obviously others had gone that way but I doubt they walked back up, if it was taped properly he would have won.

Well as you can see the tape down and the tyre marks on the ground in the footage it doesn’t really need much explanation. They just call it an off track excursion in the video, probably trying to play it down as this is the official uci video.
I don't know the exact circumstances, but taping an entire Enduro stage then maintaining the tape throughout a race is nearly impossible. Plus part of racing is remembering the track. You also need to be able to quickly react to the unexpected, especially in enduro. I'm sorry Jack missed out, but I have to say that from the sounds of things it was at least partly on him.
Bet there’s been some editing or deleting of GoPros from that last stage as it is pretty obvious quite a few people had cut the corner ahead of moimoi.

Sure blame the UCI all you want for the broken tape, but that line was not created during the race and existed prior. It is not a good idea to assume the people that won took the line. There is no reason to question their integrity. This was Alex Rudeau's 4th consecutive podium so there is no question that he has what it takes to belongs there legitimately and the winner is a local. I'm not saying that what happens is right, and I wish Jack got the dub!

Despite what the official results say MoiMoi won that race. No marshals at that badly taped corner ruined this race. Who knows how many other riders missed it and had to walk back and how many just ignored the tape and kept going. The results are completely skewed and was not a fair race
