I used to eat small amounts of grass as a kid. I stopped when I was six I don’t remember why I stopped then but I still like the smell and taste of grass. Still I’m not going to eat grass it’s not healthy and there’s so much gross stuff in it and I know my body is incapable of digesting it. Instead I drink matcha tea, or eat leafy greens.

Do any of the ‘medical professionals’ ever consider WHY they are eating strange things? There are a number of actual physical ailments (i.e. anemia) that cause people to crave strange non-food items (the phenomenon is called pica). Maybe many of these people are iron-deficient or have other treatable non-psychological conditions.
