as someone who works in a grocery store i can confidently say even if it wasnât fake, people are more than willing to leave their ice cream wherever
People are especially bold at Walmart.. They will put that shit in the cracker isle like itâs nothinđ
I worked at one for 6 years. I would see all types of stuff being left out. Ice cream ontop of bread, eggs in the spaghetti isle, half eaten rotisserie with the carcas half out the container and half in at an empty register. People are disgusting.
Yupppppp. I worked grocery few times. Was nothing to find ice cream or steak over with ther cereal.
â@Hardware John I work nights and it's like a bronze tier loot box with random useless things. One time there was a raw steak in the toy aisle, and another time a pair of panties and a bra on the gun counter lmfaoo
Then they have the audacity to yell at you for putting their bread with a bag of chips or other bread. đ
"We froze your family in a block of ice." Hahaha I started laughing so hard
40 icecream bars a year is normal? Damn, I've been slacking then, I don't think I even get to 10.
I have ice cream bars in my fridge that are on the verge of frost bite... Tubs of ice cream tho....only last in my fridge between a day and 3 months... I eat more ice cream in the winter tho. XD
Depends on what kind of ice cream and my mood.
she's been eating 40 "A day" like wtf
I just rummage through my dads freezer instead of buying my own boxes. đđ
We're already half way through the year and I can only recall 2 times I ate ice cream
Why do they sound like cult recruiters? "She's ready for the next step."
YES. I was looking for this comment lol
well, I mean... we ain't got any proof that they are not...
Because they are. Habits and psychiatry is all brainwashing. You have re-wash, (or "rewire", however you want to say it,) your brain to think differently so you believe something different so your behavior changes.
Lmaooo
Because recovery from any kind of addiction comes in stages. First, they have to be able to admit that there's a problem. Then they have to be willing to put in the effort. After that, the hard work of quitting actually comes. There's several different steps to that part too: Removing the addiction, replacing the fixation with other, healthier habits, and seeking help when they're feeling low are all parts of the process that will have to happen. Recovery isn't a linear process, it's more like climbing a mountain. There will be highs and lows but you have to keep pushing to that next step.
The 'professionals' in this show are horrible. And yet I can't look away.
@Kavetion yes, yes you are. You and your channel with 0 videos is waaaay better than Kenâs....

I worked at a dollar tree and a lady who was a hoarder and going through a bad divorce with kids basically held me hostage at the register until I hugged her and politely escorted her out.

They missed out on a golden opportunity
I personally, eat icecream, probably.... 6 times a year, if im lucky...
My kids would inhale 20 litres a day if I'd let them.
Yea I hardly eat ice cream. 6 seems like a lot to me, I love ice cream lol but I live in northern Canada, so my fav ice cream isnât around for 8 months a year.
I would have it daily, but try not to. Prob 3 times a week on average
I'd inhale it too. My favourite type of something sweet
@@xwannabeetinkerbellx 6 is a lot in a year? thats 1 every 2 monthsđ
@@nick0164 I said to me. So ya.
i love how they always have some sad backstory for why they're addicted to food, and it's never just "i dunno, because i like it??" lmao
I mean that too but a lot of people do something like comfort eating so the sad story would make sense. (if they didn't make it so obviously fake)
I used to nibble on ice cream or eat something I really liked whenever I got highly stressed out or to an extreme sad because I wasn't able to distract myself from the feelings, let alone get anything done or be productive. It helped a lot AND was tasty but obviously not a long term solution.
Meanwhile my mom and my boyfriend are the complete opposite who can't eat anything when they have strong emotions and feel sick in the stomach.
I remember discussing with others what they would do and my boyfriend for example would distract himself with videos or live streams or playing video games but it didn't work for me because I couldn't concentrate on those things at all. So in the end it just comes down to what type of person one is.
âCrying in Krogersâ sounds like an A&E reality mini-series.
Addictions normally sprout from some sort of trauma
@@jos-josradvanji6203 depression, sadness, and stress causes your body to crave sugar. Ice cream is proven to help reduce stress and depression.
Well, usually when you are addicted to one thing more than others, it is psychological to a certain extent. You think it's normal to only like ice cream bars, or only cheeseburgers, or only French fries? And like literally nothing else? You clearly don't know the meaning of addiction either.. if you are just obese and only want to eat fast food and shitty stuff.. you probably are addicted as well! The fats and sugars have addictive qualities just like drugs.
10,000 a year is about 27 a day... 40 a day is 14,600 a year... Someone's math is off a bit
I'm guessing they exaggerated the 40-a-day number. Maybe she said once she ate 40 in one day and they ran with it!
They just used to work for Target.
right?! & then 256 boxes of six = 1536 and that's 2 months worth? that's 9200 in a year...
Iâm glad Iâm not the only one that noticed there math was off
I mean that's generally how it is actually lol people who use food to comfort themselves emotionally usually have something from their childhood or early years connected to why they do that. They had to start using it as a coping mechanism for a reason you know? You dont need a coping mechanism if you have nothing to cope over lol
"This is your family, and this is your family... ON ICE!"
*Throws that shit on the ground, for no reason really.*
This is ur brain... This is ur brain on meth...-err-ice! Lmao
BS breakdown:
Narrator says up to 10k per year... 40 a day is over 14k in a year. They literally just make up numbers on the spot lol. 10k a year is 27 a day. Still a ton, but big difference and still probably not even close to true. Then they say 250 boxes, with 6 bars per box for 2 months... which is 25 bars per day, not 27...
And their math for the calories breaks down to exactly 100 calories per ice cream bar... the only thing I can find at 100 per bar is frozen yogurt bars, and I highly doubt she's eating froyo.
Also if she eats 27 bars a day... that's probably more ice cream bars than I've had in the last 15 years... or more.
I dont think people realize how fake this show is. The worst part is ppl will see it and think their eating habits must not be very bad if this lady is eating 40 ice cream bars a day
@@brockashsfrund Good point. If they think she can eat 40 bars a day and not weigh 300 pounds, than what's wrong with eating a box a day?
These shows are basically 45 minutes of bullshit numbers and metaphors. Once you realise that the entertainment value drops to near zero.
It dod say "up to 40 a day" so maybe some days much less? Either way, the way they explain isn't right.
@@Clovis_Rose ya maybe, still the other math doesn't add up.

Her: âI mean, you donât *really* need TWO kidneys, do you?"
They could have had every kid in the neighborhood come buy ice cream and been like "you eat all of that by yourself in a day"đ€· and it would have been a better point than "we froze your family in a block of ice".
đ€Ł
If I could afford to eat 40 icecream bars every day (and if my body could survive it) I would.
Same. My metabolism is extremely fast due to dad's side of the family, so I never gain weight regardless of eating tons of unhealthy stuff. Strangely, despite eating bad things, doctors don't find any evidence of it such as clogged arteries.
Well Schrodinger you'll never know if you'll live or die until you eat the 40 bars a day

I just don't understand how this woman would not weigh 600 lbs if she truly ate that much ice cream every day? I've been trying to lose weight, and haven't had a single item with sugar in it in like 6 months, and haven't lost a pound!
sugar isnt the problem with weight loss its callories in calories out that will get results.
@@animeloveer97 yes, it's not JUST sugar, but as an insulin-dependent diabetic, the more insulin I use, the more weight I gain, so typically I can lose weight by reducing my carb intake. Plus cutting out sugar usually reduces cravings.
