You getting overexcited is part of the reason why we're here! Your in-the-moment dedication is infectious and glorious to see!
i totaly agrre with this, reaction means reaction, many other do just sit and listen and then make some comment after the song, that is bullshit, i love your reactions because show what you feel
I was going to offer to breath for her 😏but yeah she's great because she gets lost in the song. It is a fun song because it has these unexpected change ups.
The joy you have is amazing and really fantastic to watch!
i love how shes smiling the entire time
I suggest you listen to this entire album from start to finish. It'll blow your mind.
It's still the best thing they've ever done.
Damn right, lol...
Every kid who grew up in the 80's hears that guitar intro then the drums and we know what's coming...all-out assault...the last 2+ minutes of this song can't be topped even all these years later... this band just exploded on the scene and it was metal domination. Back when MTV not only played music videos but played metal all the time! What an amazing decade to grow up in!
Can’t be topped? Think they’d be found wanting if they were playing after Rammstein.
Headbanger's Ball!
🤘😎🤘
@@TheRammMan Nope. Rammstein can't match GNR's harmonies. Axl and Slash are just musical geniuses.
@@jameshutchinson568 😂 agree to disagree in a big way 😂😂
THIS is Guns n' Roses, that first album is pure rock!
Bought this on vinyl when it was released, with the original sleeve before it was banned. Possibly the greatest album of all time, from one of the greatest bands of all time, although they never captured me as much ever again after this album. Nirvana my top then GnR, but if GnR had split after this album it might well be the other way around, or if Nirvana had gone on to make bland stuff like GnR did.
@@ravenmasters2467 the irony is that none of GNR member died for their toxic lifestyle, while someone who is somewhat cleaner like Kurt did
Seeing someone your age getting so excited makes me remember what it was like years ago when I'd hear these songs for the first time. It brings me joy.
I saw Guns N Roses in 2017 on the "Not In This Lifetime" tour when Slash and Duff (the bassist) rejoined the band after like 20 years. This was the closer. I can no longer hear the end section of this song when it gets really nuts without picturing in my head fireworks, towers of fire erupting up, and about 7 billion tons of confetti being blown through the entire crowd.
I watched Guns'n'Roses in Lisbon 1992, with Soundgarden and Faith No More opening for them. Axl Rose, Mike Patton and Chris Cornell in one day, 3 of the best vocalist of all time. One of the best days of my life.
GNR was the definition of rock and roll. Appetite for destruction is one banger after another.
Sry but Hendrix n Zepplin were many yrs b4 these dudes likewise a ton of other Rock bands..I'd give them very little credit for anything except some good songs etc.
This video owned MTV either the summer of ‘89 or ‘90.
89'
Duff is one of the best Punk / Rock Bass players ever.
/ singer. Was at a dive bar in Memphis (Rascals) and Axl was at a table with a group of girls and the band was up there waiting on him to sing. Duff walked up to the mic and said, ok, I'll sing. Axl jumped over the table, walking across the next table and landed at the mic right when the song got to where the vocals were to come in.
lol
Such a catchy riff and always a great vibe.
This whole album is pure fire.
I lived this era to the fullest, more concerts than I can count, and I miss it terribly because so much of that feeling has been lost.
Totally with you there! Always a new concert to look forward to - live music beats any vinyl ✌️💚
Yeah. And I'm not sure about your area, but the local music scene was for real.
You want to go back to the Pardise City.
Im jealous. My parents wouldn't let me go
Same! 😎
In a concert like that ,the band is pulling as much energy as the crowd is pulling from the band !!!
picture being a teenager in the 80's and Appetite for Destruction kicks off. Absolute game changer.
Also, those kind of crowds were the norm. I am not saying if we had the tech we wouldn't be the same but look when there are no phones recording and just people there for the music and experience.
Yep, I was! I miss it. :(
This album was one of my earliest memories, being an 80s baby. I feel like Aileen would have fit in perfectly with the Xennial era of classic heavy metal and hard rock hair bands like GnR. She's definitely an old soul.
She'd have been a metal chick for sure.
Loved the 80’s. I actually met them backstage. Axel Rose was a work of art and beautiful in person.
This entire album was killer. Patience is amazing. But the ones they couldn’t play on the radio are amazing too. It’s so easy, Mr Brownstone a lot of there songs we’re dealing with very hard drug use so the radio station refused to play them. But I remember being 11-12 and stealing this cd from my 16 year old sister it was just too good to only hear when she was around
'Patience' wasnt on this album but yes, the entire album was amazing. Bought this on vinyl when it was released, with the original sleeve before it was banned. Possibly the greatest album of all time.
My favorite Guns N Roses song. Thank You for listening to it
Love GnR! They are true legends of rock!!!
This was the first concert I ever went to. Guns opened up for Deep Purple and Aerosmith at Giants Stadium. We only got tickets because we wanted to see Guns!
If you haven't heard it yet, check out their song "Rocket Queen"......will always be my fave song by them as it was the first song I ever heard by them....Raw, dirty yet emotional....you'll love it
Always my favorite G N'R song because of the wild energy, so many incredible changes, Slash's solo, and how amazingly cool the band looks in the video. Every element works perfectly and yet it still sounds like a cataclysmic crash in the middle of Rio de Janeiro.
Great reaction as always. Your energy on every video is incredible.
BTW, I’m still getting used to the songs of my youth/young adulthood being called “classics”.
Aileen, that ending part you are referring to is called "controlled chaos". 🤣And YES, Slash on guitar is a BEAST! 😁👍
WHEN THE VIDEO TURNS TO BLACK +WHITE THAT WAS MONSTERS OF ROCK 88 AND I WAS 18 YEARS OLD NEAR THE STAGE AND MY FACE COULD BE SEEN IN THE KERRANG MAGAZINE
GNR's original lineup, Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven was an unstoppable force of nature. Each were terrific musicians/ performers in their own right but together was pure gold. And Slash has become an icon of guitarists on the same level as Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen.
Well you get excited you get excited, that's great.
And to think that part of this was filmed at Giants Stadium when they OPENED for Deep Purple and Aerosmith
GnR was my introduction to the metal world ! i often say that i would've loved being a teenager in the 80's!
The live color footage was from the Meadowlands ( Giants Stadium ) in NJ , missed this show because I was sick as a dog. Black & white live footage is from Castle Donington festival in the UK.
You really do pick up the energies and vibes of every song you react to with how much you’re always dancing and having the cutest times 🥹 That 300k is as good as yours soon enough too 🖤
She is such a beauty ❤
The "mayhem" ending in this song is among the best musical moments ever 💪💪💪
KNOCKIN’ ON HEAVEN’S DOOR
GUNS N ROSES 🌹
I love watching your reactions cuz when you start dancing to the songs your emotions and energy are fusing together and you're really feeling all of it.
love it when you get excited
I first heard GNR when my older brothers wore out their tape in the late 80s. I rediscovered them in high school around 1999, and that marked the start of my music journey. I got to see them for the first time last year, and it was a great experience. Sure, Axl can't sing the same way anymore, but for the whole 3 hour (!) show, I felt like a kid again 🥲
One of the greatest debut albums of all-time, and greatest albums of all-time, imo. P.S. "Ants-in-his-pants" is an expression that pre-dates my old ass-lol Kudos to you for using it so well; thanks for your time and effort!
You can't do Guns N Roses without doing "Sweet Child O Mine" it's their most iconic song from this era.
A love song that rocks 🤘
Best rock song ever written. Rock music is about energy and Paradise City is all energy.
You need to hear "Nightrain"
You're my new favorite reaction person. Love your energy, and excitement as you experience the music I grew up on.
Hey BIG congrats on hitting 300k you're an amazing youtuber and person I get so excited when you upload a new video I think where is Aileen taking me today? Wherever it may be along for the ride 110% thank you ☺️
Love your reactions! You're very fun to watch. I was 15 when GNR debuted in 1987, though this song and video wasn't released until early '89. I actually first heard this song in late '87 from all the word of mouth going around on how great the whole album was. A friend introduced me to this song, along with the whole album, and I bought the album after my next paycheck. You could actually do reactions on this whole 12 song 54 minute album one by one and we'd love to watch it.
I've bored the internet with this story before, so you can have it too. When I first heard this, back when I was small and you were a glint in your Daddy's eye, I heard the first 30 seconds on TV and was already getting my shoes on. I was in my local record shop buying the 7" single before the song had finished.
We're here because we love GnR and because love YOU! Also, I don't know how many times I've seen this video and never noticed the couple making out! 😆 Thank you for pointing that out! I will now see it every time!
You would be the funnest concert buddy I feel ❤
I bought Appetite on vinyl the day it was released..... (Man I feel old!).... That album defined an era.
The lower register is Axl, he had massive range (there was/is a video of a show where his voice is done so he sings in his natural lower register and it’s amazing)
Aileen at 9:20….jammin out, with that beautiful infectious smile….thats why we’re here!😎🤘
One of the greatest rock&roll songs ever. Love your energy over all these amazing songs 🤙🥰
I love this song! Glad to see you enjoying it too and spreading this classic rock jam. Slash and Axl usually grabbed most people's attention from the band. Singers and lead guitars usually do. DO NOT sleep on Duff. This dude IS (not was) and incredible musician. These bass lines were incredible
Oh and congratulations on almost 300K subscribers = that is awesome Aileen! I love your channel 😀😀
It's so refreshing to see young people gettin into kickazz music.. Gen X was exposed to it all an we loved it an we still do... get excited as you want never apologize for what yur soul is feelin
Living under a rock this girl wtf.
Love how immersed you get watching these great songs! Keep it up Aileen!
Definitely not a Guns N Roses baby. I was a teenager in the late 80’s and at those concerts. I will not deny that I wasn’t doing what makes babies however. There is something you younger ladies will never understand but back then these bands turn these girls on so much that they are ready for anything and everything.
The black and white footage where you stated that’s a lot of people was castle donington 88 up to 120 thousand people. 2 people died during the GnR set the surge and crush was massive I was there it was scary
SOOOOO glad that you finally reacted to this. I love the joy on your face throughout the song. You truly get what music is about. Feeling the energy and the build up. Was a great time to be alive!
The goats of hard rock 🔥
I SOOOOO miss big open-air rock concerts! So much more fun!!
Aileen, You are by far the "best" of all of the CZcams Reaction Video Channels out there. I love to Rock Out with You during your playbacks. I really enjoy the time. Keep them coming. Looking forward to the next reaction video.
Your energy + Guns & Roses energy = I'm wiped out! Wow great reaction as always!
What a throwback. This was one of the many music videos I was watching over and over again in my teens. Good to see you enjoying it.
Appetite for Destruction is one of the greatest albums ever. Over 30 million records sold worldwide. So many incredible songs on the album! ❤🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
"Those glasses never stood a chance." 😂 You've always got a line that makes me laugh.
😂😂
We love G & R!!!. And LOVE you, too, Aileen!!! Thanks for this little look back to one of our Rock & Roll yesterdays. This was fun. See ya on the next. Peace and love to all of you out there, Fam, from this old, longhaired, rocker in East Tennessee. Bless you all. Go with God. Later, y'all.🖤🎵🎶🤟😎🎶🎵🖤
You have a million dollar smile, Aileen. I love how you love these hard rockin' songs. You should do their best song, "Estranged".
I love watching your reactions to music videos Aileen
Oh wow you look & sound amazing that is something else I love Guns and Rose's like myself when you are listening to certain music tracks you get into the moment & like go with the flow of the music like I do as well sounds great
That smile is sooo infectious!!! Luv it when you really get into it!!!!
Your hometown must be Paradise City.
Your wiggles though......whew!
GNR traditionally played Paradise City as an encore or last during their shows followed by Axle's mike toss to the audience. Still tons of energy in the house at the end of the show. The Appetite tour in '88 was by far the funnest pre concert/concert/post concert I have ever been to in my whole life. That vibe was absolutely contagious
I rarely comment on your videos but I am always checking your reactions since quite a while. Just wanted to mention that I love your passion and how you're fully invested into the song.
YEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...I remember these days and went to these concerts! God I miss the times.
Duff McKagan is one of my favourite bass players. He has such a unique sound.
The bass player, Duff Mckagan's '93 solo album "Belive in Me" is an awesome disc 🤘
I'm surprised that you haven't heard this gem of a song, it's such a classic! I used to play this song on this toy guitar I bought from the dollar store 😂
NICE!! My Favorite song! Heard it first when my older sister dubbed Appetite for Destruction for me when I was 11 years old.
Axle Rose at the peak of Gun's and Roses success he had a 6 octave range. 6 OCTAVE!!!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 AMAZING!!!!
More G-n-R:
Mr. Brownstone
My Michelle
Pretty much every song from, Appetite for Destruction
id love to see her react to my michelle. i think shed appreciate it.
yeah nah looking back it now never thought about it much but yes axles voice is amazing and slashes guitar work is top of the line, perfect voice for this band. // guns (for the hard rock aspect) ' Roses' for the soft ballad rock aspect
Hi Aileen 😊 Absolutely fabulous reaction to Guns and Roses' Paradise City😊👍 You do not talk too much and you are not an over-thinker 😊 You hit the nail on the head every time 😊 All the recommendations for future listening of Guns and Roses are excellent and I look forward to your reactions to them 😊 Have a great day you and Arya 😊👍
I think I grew up at the perfect time with GNR during my high school and college years and they HEAVILY influenced my musically taste back then! Such great memories wow.
Thanks for reacting to this song. You are so fun! I wish I could just sit down with you, have a drink, and talk music with you...that's would be so awesome.
Thanks again for the great reactions. Keep smiling👍🙂🇨🇦
I like your reactions because you really feel the music.
Think i was 11 when this video dropped. Fell in love with this music instantly.
Those glasses never stood a chance!
My favorite song from Guns N’ Roses still trying to learn the whole song 🤘🤘🤘🤘
For sure the Best hard rock band on 90's.
You should watch 'Paradise City' and 'Knocking on Heavens Door' at the Freddie Mercury tribute.. Peak GNR.
You have the best reactions ❤😊
Great reaction to a legendary song.
I still remember seeing this video for the 1st time when it came out, my 13 yr old mind was instantly blown - the whole Appetite For Destruction album is all kinds of awesome!
I enjoyed watching you watch this for the first time, and loving it 😊
I was 12 when this album came out, they were one of my gateway bands to Metal!!!
I was 13 when this came out. Non stop listening for two years. What an amazing album!
Love Guns and Roses but i was born in 77 so I'm too young to be a concert baby. I miss the 80s. Wish i would have been older then. Man what a fun time.
G&R MINI LP LIES IS A JEWEL OF A ALBUM EVERYONE FORGETS ABOUT. USED TO LOVE HER IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS FROM G&R
Paradise City is G'NR's Freebird. I bought Appetite for Destruction on a guess and it stayed in my tape deck for months, getting very little rest.
80’s concerts were unlike anything else.
