I like the way you show us the mistakes and the solution. It really helps to learn and understand everything properly. Thank you for this awesome tutorial.
I've experimenting with using this as a template so I appended it into a new file and duplicated the building. Hit the 2 next to the count to delete the original building's geometry node from the second building and it gave me a duplicate geometry node setup with .001 extension allowing me to change the 2nd building. Just by changing the 1 x 1 models I can give the 2nd building a different look. A very useful tutorial you explained the details as you went along. Thanks.
Woah! Thanks for updating the procedural building tutorial. Now I too would be able to come to a conclusion regaring with system of geo nodes is better according to my own opinion. Thanks for the great work 🙂
Thank you, very, very beautiful. you can turn this into a wall and put a door in the claw. The roof rafters ,and if you make roof tiles, it will be a wonderful video
Awesome tutorial, I am going to teach this to my students next week! With a few adjustments on inputs we can easily change the asset collections to selfmade tiles, and thus build our very own little city. Thank you for the inspiration!
Hey mate, thanks for the whole series, and thanks for updating for 3.0. I'm very new to blender but I found this video relatively easy to follow with some effort and I learnt a lot. Thanks again.
I think the math works out a lot easier if you leave the origin to be the center. Then when you are moving the walls, you only need to offset either X or Y for each wall, not both. And it's completely symmetrical.
In blender 2.9 I use attribute i was like 😨 and now In blender 3.0 it is so easy to use I mean that last time when you made you have to make almost 3 parts and now you have just to make 1 part and by the way thank you for updating😊
Thanks again for this new version of the procedural house. Have you figured how to include a traditional roof (instead of a flat one)? That said, thanks again for your tutorial
very clear, thank you! one question, how to add a new floor with a different group of walls? For example: up to the 5th floor some wall modules, after the 5th floor others + adding air conditioners and other decorations without adding them to the mesh wall
Thanks for including the project file and assets, I found your presentation to be too quick at times and I got lost towards the end and none of my height and width would line up. Not sure where I went wrong, but it was probably just me.
Great tutorial!- though you went a bit fast at times, I kept having to restart from 0 as I would miss things and screw up. Also, just a warning to anyone coming across this hoping to get anything exportable out of GeoNodes. ATM, using the "Realize Instance" node (i.e. what you use to make the geo node structure "real" geometry) destroys all uvs on the the instances in the process of creating the mesh. This makes geo nodes practically unusable for anything outside of Blender at the time of writing.
I'm noticing that walls opposite from each other have the same arrangement of the two types of windows. is there a way to make each side unique from its opposite side?
Mr Chong, best geometry node teacher ever. I love how you teach, explaining what each node does. It's really lovely
Thanks! 😄
I like the way you show us the mistakes and the solution. It really helps to learn and understand everything properly. Thank you for this awesome tutorial.
Didn't knew the duplication method I used to duplicate all the nodes leading to instances on point node and then join them, Thanks man , subbed
You're very welcome! Thanks for the Sub!😃
I'm glad it's updated for 3.0 :D
It's amazing how fast you explained it while also including explanations when needed 👌👌
So easy to follow, thank you. You really move along fast but are so clear with it, brilliant work!!
Glad it was helpful!😄
I find it interesting that adding the distortion to your voice makes it really interesting to understand you with that thick accent.
Never been too crazy about these nodes!

Lots of good information here. I like how you explain what the nodes are doing, and why. Thanks for the info!

Agree..
Thanks very muuch. Best video for nodes i ever found
My favorite channel for learning blender thanks a lot
Glad it was helpful!😄
Hi Mr. Chong! hope that u're well and healty. Thank you for the tutorial, that was very clear and very fun to follow!!!
I've been hoping to find a tutorial using Geometry Nodes to create a procedural building. Thanks.
You are welcome!😄
Vraiment impressionnant ! Merci beaucoup de prendre le temps de nous partager tout ça :)
thanks for taking the time to update your video to 3.0.
Just stumbled on this one. Great work in creating something that's easy to understand.
Thank u Chong for your great tutorial. Learned a lot through your clear explanation.
You're a wizard! Thanks a lot for your explanation
You're welcome 😊
This is simply amazing. Thank you so much, Mr Chong.
Awesome material! I was able to follow de description even being a beginner! Thanks a lot!!

Agree with you😄, the Fields Workflow in Blender 3.0 is a lot easy to use 😄😄
Wonderful. And so bright and cheerful.
Ingenious 👌🏻
This is great stuff, subscribed!
I like your tutorial. Very thorough explanation.
Thank you!
I wonder if 3.1 will change anything, I'm pretty sure more nodes are coming out. Thanks for updating this!
Thanks! I don't think there are any big changes in Blender 3.1, but for sure, more nodes are coming
Thanks again for this new version of the procedural house. Have you figured how to include a traditional roof (instead of a flat one)? That said, thanks again for your tutorial
I haven't tried it yet, will make another video or update in the community once I find out😅
Thanks for the tutorial dude, learned a lot!
No problem!😄

thanks!!this works for me
Great!😊
THanks for updating!
No problem!🙂
very good tutorial. Thanks Chong!
Glad you liked it!😄
GENIUS!
This is the best video for procedural buildings! Thanks you. Can you show how to add internal floors to the nodes?
Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!
Very good and clear - Thank you
Glad it was helpful!😃
Nice tutorial. However, geometry node is a complex topic. it needs to be simplified in the future
very clear, thank you!
one question, how to add a new floor with a different group of walls?
For example:
up to the 5th floor some wall modules, after the 5th floor others + adding air conditioners and other decorations without adding them to the mesh wall
superbe cours de geometry nodes (frenchy)
if your wall is not 1 meter, but for example length x
then the formula will be (n-1) * x
Where
n - number of walls
x - wall length
Thanks for ur tutorial it was greattt ✔✔✔✔
Lah ya3tik lkhir 👌👌
Thank you!! It's so good.
I'm glad you like it😄
Brilliant person, you helped me a lot!

Fantastic. Thank you.
thank you*one million
AWESOME!!!!!!!
Amazing, thanks so much man!
any ideas how to turn it into a mesh? bcs everytime after i either apply it on modifier or convert to mesh its just turnin to a single plane. pls help
Thats great!
Very good! Thanks a lot!
Awesome!!
Thanks!😃
Awesome man
Thanks!
amazing tut!
Nice! 👏
thank you
How about procedural streets/crossings maybe on various heights… By the way, love your style!
I am still looking for an efficient way to do it, will definitely make a video after i figure out😄
thank SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO much!
Epic, can you next make the geo nodes procedural castle?
Thanks. I am still not sure if I will make a castle, but I do have a plan to make something similar.😄
happily subscribed just wanted to know where you learn these things?
From everywhere, CZcams, Houdini tutorial, C4D tutorial, Blender tutorial, math tutorial and so on😅
I'm noticing that walls opposite from each other have the same arrangement of the two types of windows. is there a way to make each side unique from its opposite side?
Great tutorial! Thanks for your tutorial!
Question:I use roof corner method to create ground corner, but there has no effect. Thanks for answer :)
Hi, did you mind to send me your working file? so that i can take a look 😀
@@Chong3D Sure! I will send you later 😀
genius
Is it possible to use different dimension than 1x1 meter? Also have fixed "tiles" like the 4th tile in x-axis always being green, or something
Awesome video . Thanks for it . Any chance you show us how to flip those elements so we can get room/interior genrrator
Thanks! For the interior, I don't really have a good solution yet, but i will make a video once I figure it out😄
@@Chong3D awesome
THANK YOU
You're welcome!😄
I'm am your new subscriber
Thanks for the Suub!😃
@@Chong3D thanks for all extra materials
could you please malke tutorial on how to import the assets in to new project. im not a blender expert
Hi, if you want to import blender assets into your new blender project, this is the tutorial you need:
czcams.com/video/ldHOfvE52QA/video.html
I love it and works here. how put texture now?
