Bro TBH this is my Favorite song by Whitney Houston. Of all her hits this one is it. Perhaps it was structured and written so very well, or perhaps it reminds me of my first breakup. I hope no one try's to cover it. The smile that used to greet me brightened someone else's day, she took the smile away......Makes me wanna cry. Damn I just love this song.
Man, your reactions are priceless! I’m late to the party. This was off her first album, 85 and was only released on radio here but officially overseas. The concert versions of this song are slowed down a bit but she only included it during the overseas legs of The Greatest Love World Tour, 86 and the Im Your Baby Tonight World Tour, 91, so they’re rare. I wish she would’ve sung it more, esp on her 2nd tour, 87-88 when her voice was in TOTAL DOMINATION mode lol. She was absolutely TBE!🐐Thanks, I enjoyed!! 💪🏾
