Patrick like you, I am convinced that Whitney is the greatest singer that not only lived, but that will ever live!
She is not of this world, when it comes to vocal prowess.
Objectively speaking, this woman has and never had any equal when it comes to vocalizing. And I say this without apology.
There are many great singers that have lived and others that are still alive. But I daresay, none can compare! She is the Greatest by any measure.
I have seen ( in videos) and heard (on recorded version) this woman achieve vocal gymnastics that other singer dare not attempt, lest they embarrass themselves . She has set the vocal bar so high that very few, (if any) singers achieve it!

Note: The first time I encountered Whitney's incredible talent/gift was seeing her video of "You give good love" in Jamaica( where I reside).
I immediately called my spouse to watch the video and told her that the singer(whose name I did not know at the time), would be the next great vocalist of our time. Little did I know at the time that she would become the greatest of all time, as she matured and her gifted vocals became divine!! I love Whitney, and always will, not only because she is an extraordinary, unmatched vocalist, but also because she is one of the most humble, caring and generous human beings I happen to know.
