Lot of people have been saying this. I'm speculating here, but imagine you might be able to connect your phone to one of the (3?) USB-C ports on the device. 2 appear for data use. This eliminates the need for TRRS anyway, since most modern phones don't have headphone jacks on. Android, you'd use a USB-C to USB-C and iPhone a USB-C to Lightning cable.

One thing it needs is for the buttons to have images in them like the streamdeck that would be sick
does it have other mic presets yet? previously only rode mic were listed, whereas shure mics were not. just curious, thanks in advance.
It does have a SM7B preset. I’ve seen it on other reviews

Would you be able to use this directly with a camera per say like the old one?
Be good to see what you can do with the channels, there are 2 less faders but if you were able to map other channels to other software outputs, that would be pretty amazing...and also to give those channels "names" instead of 1/2/3/4 etc would be even more amazing!

Well, The one I ordered arrived today and the touch screen was broken away from the device. I have returned it to Amazon and ordered another. Hopefully with a better result. 🙂
do you think I can use my Golden Age GA-8000 in my DAW Cubase without any problems? without losing quality? i make music and streaming.
Running through the Rodecaster Pro II? Yeah, I don't see why not. The RCPII accepts the XLR connection, so it's just a case of connecting it, then using the DAW software to manage everything.

can you open your mic to talk on the radio? Is there anything you have to do to talk or stop the music before talking? Can you demostrate a radio show with music and you talk after thr song stops?

Great video! If you want to start a podcast do you recommend going with Rodecaster 1 or 2? Is it worth paying more even if you are just a beginner?
Go for the Rodecaster Pro II. Does the same job as the first version, but with plenty more features. If you're strapped for cash, you could pickup the first version second-hand for cheap-ish.
