Had a LOT of trouble here with Marth. Once I switched to Link it wasn't so bad!
The goal is to showcase how the developers interpreted the character/item - the spirit - with a fair fight!
What do I mean by "Fair"? Certainly not fair for ME! Essentially, I'm selecting a Primary Spirit without any Type-Advantage and a similar Spirit Power to the opposing spirits! I've also turned off all Adventure Skills if the battle takes place in the Adventure Mode and I'm avoiding the use of Support Spirits and their Skills unless it ends up being necessary in a fight (All the floor is lava!). Primary Spirits with a Skill or some other buff may be used.
Difficulty level in Adventure Mode remains at "Normal". I believe this best represents the full spectrum of enemy AI rather than playing on "Hard" which would push what are supposed to be easier fights towards the difficult side of the spectrum (misrepresenting developer intent!) Besides, the Spirit Board has no difficulty selection! I can only assume that those fought there are of an equivalent AI setting to "Normal" in Adventure Mode.
Focusing on uploading all the fights comes first! Insights, stats, or descriptions may come later!

Unlike Guille, he throws annoying boomerangs and does an undodgable so-called FORCE KICK! Makes sense.
This one was a nightmare.

When I fought him as Sonic, I got rid of Akira but I had 3.4 HP and Ryu had around 30 HP left. I defeated him using the only method I could think of...
...spamming up B so he could take damage with the spring.

I did this one earlier today from the spirit collection, after trying way too many times with my current main Min Min, I switch to Kirby. Inhaled Ryu, leap off the ledge, Ryu escapes almost right away, and I hop off his head causing him to drop for an easy win.
Hostile assist trophies will appear.
All fighters have reduced jump ability.
Extra condition:
-The assist trophy will beat the crap out of yoy
-fighters can and will corner you
You will rage out of both wrath AND envy
The last time I beat Akira, it is when I used the Ore Club to blow him away from the stage, before I had a chance to beat his stunt double with Lucario (at critical health)

Yep even in normal battles you can defeat your own assist trophy though only through FS and items, in fact if it weren’t for Ryu to kill him I would’ve lost so many times

I like how not only do they use Brael music, the floatiest Smash game (vanilla specifically), the character is from Virtua Fighter, another floaty fighting game, yet for some reason there's stronger gravity for this battle.
The Gravity is how Virtua Works. You must wreck him outside the Ring.
Ryu was chosen since both he and Akira are both martial artists from fighting games.
Wondering if they used one of his actual themes (considering they managed to borrow one of Sans's and Cuphead's themes) instead of the Cruel Smash theme.
So Hard
How to win:
- Use Zelda
Have Hero Chao as your primary spirit (it has fast FS meter)
- Have Ashley as your support spirit (fast FS meter as well)
- Once you have your final smash, assuming you are still alive, go off stage, face the blast zone and use it
Dang it. I ALWAYS cringe when I see this fight, because when I first played through Sacred Land and encountered this Spirit, I KNEW I was going to get my butt handled to me. I managed to defeat him with Bowser though after THOUSANDS of retries but when I received the one-winged angel, Sephiroth, who is currently my 2021 main over Persona 5's Joker who I've been using since April 2019, let's just say when I did probably my 100th run in World of Light's Sacred Land, Sephiroth took Akira down easily with his aggressive and crazy but elegant attacks, especially Shadow Flare, since I knew that Ryu can't jump over things since your gravity and jumping is reduced, handling this battle over to me in my favor. Sephiroth really came through for me during this fight.

This one is a super hard one to me and it's much harder than Porygon, Aparoid, and Medusa!
Yeah on the porygon fight after a short time Akira will appear
Akira is a monster that parries/absorbs a lot of attacks. He is NOT a trophy you want to tangle with!

would be more accurate if it was Kazuya since both are 3D fighting games. But then again Kazuya is dlc
Also, Ryu and Akira are more similar characters anyway.
Where is this spirit located?
Looks like the Zelda Map in the second (Dark) Overworld (Dungeon location located in the lower left).
