Master Hand is a boss in the Super Smash Bros Series (who also comes from the Kirby Series). You can't use Final Smashes on any bosses during the adventure mode or classic mode but with a bit of modding, it's quite possible to do! So, in case you're wondering who can defeat Master Hand with their Final Smash or even use a Final Smash on a Boss, this video got you covered! Thanks to Claude1308 for making this mod!

I think with him (and a few others that didn't completely drain the stamina) there was another hit that wasn't registered as the final blow, but master hand is defeated. Just a theory

I’m not sure if this matters but Marth and Lucina can cancel their final smashes by pressing the special button after their initial use of the final smash. This can at least let them hit master hand.

That was probably part of the mod. No reason to add a feature for something that isn't even developed in game
@@thefireman17492 Master Hand is playable but the catch is you can only do it in Adventure Mode as the first phase before facing Galeem and Dharkon at the same time.
This is one of the few challenges that Palutena is able to complete while Pit fails.
No Palutena you are still not better at doing things than him.
I'm curious to why IC's, Olimar's, Bowser Jr.'s, and Banjo's final smashes does not even interact with Master Hand.
Also, Incineroar was skipped, but highly doubt it would be able to do anything.
Me too! I guess Master Hand hit box doesn't work like that. It would be cool if we got boss battle mode where you can use final smash on them.
I know that some of the Final Smashes aren't coded as "attacks", and instead "grabs", and since bosses can't be grabbed, well, the Final Smashes just don't work. (Ex. Banjo's Jinjonator, Steve's House of Boom, Sephiroth's Supernova, etc.)
I think Marth and Lucina could hit Master Hand, but you actually have to input the B button to stop them while still touching the hand

Master Hand and Crazy Hand should've been playable in the base game. Maybe a lot weaker that in the boss battle, and perhaps smaller, but still.
Master Hand is, but only for a single battle at the very end of World Of Light, which is probably the most confusing decision ever

@@kingcreeper81 I meant more just making the WoL fight available in Multiman Smash, it could work in multiplayer as in game it had Master Hand with stamina and the other players on percent, but the problem is going to a top corner and using finger lasers would just win the game, although they could've just forced the Master Hand to stay close to the stage

I finally learned one more thing about Master Hand: He goes THROUGH most final smashes.
The power in that slap almost seems personal to the character, as in "as punishment, you will be slapped into the sun" its like in movies when someone trys to start a fight, and then realizes after their first punch that they pick the wrong person to fight and then get blown through the wall from the dude they were fighting

If Bayonetta needed to use her Smash Attacks to activate her Final Smash, then some characters should gain outside help to activate THEIR Final Smashes (Ultra Sword, Darkness Illusion, Great Aether, etc.). They literally take one press of a button like most Final Smashes and nothing more.

Joke aside, I wonder, do some of the older final smash from the past game could work ? That will require a mod of course, but I feel some like DK may have a better chance
I think the pattern for which ones effect master hand is that if the attack locks the defending character in an animation, then it will not work on master hand. If it applies status effects, it crashes the game. If it applies damage like a regular attack, it will hit (but won't necessarily do the required 10 damage).

Since smash nerfed all the final smashes into trigger ones, most of the characters can't do it.
Then you have Snake, who pretty much broke those rules.
I’ve never understood why they didn’t let the FS meter be on for boss fights and just code them to hit or “grab” like normal: against the hands the FS would make them fall down instantly against the others it would put them in their hurt or stunned state while causing a nice piece of damage to them. Cinematically could work on the hands but just render the others vulnerable for an extended period of time
Never expected Roy to be the only Fire Emblem character to succeed, despite probably being the worst Fire Emblem character at your challenges
If I had to guess why about half of all final smashs don't seam to initiate property against master hand would be because master hand ether lacks hit stun animation (preventing the game Frome taking control away from the player for the final smash to occur) or that master hand is immune to all forms of grab command or otherwise

This is actually what I expected. Any character with a final smash requiring an opponent hit box to trigger won't work. It was a hunch but I was dead on.
It’s funny because it was basically Master Hand either congratulating them or calling out their failure each time! The announcer and him have the same voice actor.

There are definitely more than I thought could kill him. Didn't think about all the Final Smashes that do damage before starting their sequence up like Min-Min's or Captain Falcon's. So neat to see that in theory, a lot of final smashes can actually hit and defeat Master Hand. Especially since some of those, such as Pyra/Mythra, if a target is in, Master Hand could entirely get killed in the crossfire in this.

@@AnAverageZombie Snake's didn't lock on. Snake's has a timer and at certain points, it locks a missile into the spot the cursor is on.
