462. Articuno, Zapdos, & Moltres - Fair Spirit Battle - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The goal is to showcase how the developers interpreted the character/item - the spirit - with a fair fight!
What do I mean by "Fair"? Certainly not fair for ME! Essentially, I'm selecting a Primary Spirit without any Type-Advantage and a similar Spirit Power to the opposing spirits! I've also turned off all Adventure Skills if the battle takes place in the Adventure Mode and I'm avoiding the use of Support Spirits and their Skills unless it ends up being necessary in a fight (All the floor is lava!). Primary Spirits with a Skill or some other buff may be used.
Difficulty level in Adventure Mode remains at "Normal". I believe this best represents the full spectrum of enemy AI rather than playing on "Hard" which would push what are supposed to be easier fights towards the difficult side of the spectrum (misrepresenting developer intent!) Besides, the Spirit Board has no difficulty selection! I can only assume that those fought there are of an equivalent AI setting to "Normal" in Adventure Mode.
Focusing on uploading all the fights comes first! Insights, stats, or descriptions may come later!

In all seriousness as a Lucas main, it’s true.
But it's to represent the Pokemons' abilities.
Fun fact: each of the 3 Lucas spams a specific special move depending on the color of their shirts.
HECTOR GONZALEZ and each of the colored lucas’ are in order of the 3 legendary birds respectively.
Yep, PK Freeze references Articuno, PK thunder references Zapdos, and PK fire references Moltres.
If course, Claus has to be the 1st one to die!

When I first attempted this fight and lost repeatedly, I was like, “THIS FIGHT IS SO UNFAIR!”
Yeah, some Legendaries actually feel fair while other feels like they are trying to make it hard by having the opponent have some unfair advantage, run from from battle, or spam one move

I was today years old when I found out the last letters of each bird’s name means the numbers one, two, and three in Spanish. Artic*UNO*, Zap*DOS*, and Mol*TRES*.

idk what’s wrong with me but it took me like 1 hour to even beat the 3 Lucas’ then when I finally beat them I lost in the circle shooting so in just gave up-
Guys I’m like three years late but a good start I found is to use Shulk, use right analog stick up and side and keep using shield to counter all of them hitting you at once
Or maybe it just did better since my primary spirit was Zacian and Zamazenta which increases sword attacks
Franklin badge and little mac make this a piece of cake. just use a jump ⬆ spirit.
How this possible, The worst game design ever

Use a heavy-hitter fighter (some say Little Mac, I use Mii Brawler) and a Franklin Badge

Still better than the ninten battle
you gotta be something short of a rocket scientist to get past this one.
WHY ARE THEY LUCAS ON FIND MII?
Ice, fire, and thunder attacks.
As stated, their attacks match the bird they represent. Only way they could do that. Find mii just looks similar to where the birds are battled in certain pokemon games.

Honestly, doesn't it feel kinda lazy that they just did three Lucas puppets. I get the reason is because Lucas has PK freeze, fire and thunder, but they honestly could have done something a bit less obvious. Maybe Ice climbers for Articuno (ice based obviously), Pikachu for Zapdos, and Charizard for Moltres
All of that for a spirit that does nothing

just spaming pk thunder into myself to hit them and usin the energy shield to regenerate health until my final smash charged
They are so annoying.
I know they killed me 54 times

Difficulty shouldn't mean spamming an OP Boosted move and you have to wade thru bullcrap. Thats not difficulty
