- This is it. This is the last Braapfest on Springstead Lake. This was a great weekend with lots of riding and many awesome vintage snowmobiles.

I couldn't believe you didn't have a spare in the clutch guard clips! I mean, I have brain farts too, but that's like not having extra plugs or oil! lol At the very least, it keeps things entertainingly interesting!
I sure hope there is still something in the area for us to go to next year. Even if I have to get a couple leafers to go.
Isn’t the pre 1995 motors like a 580 and post 95 are 597. I think that the SP were the bigger carbs

Currently cleaning my carbs and changing the carb boots on my 94 xlt. Love my sled.

We were there, we had fun but missed the vintage ride, we had the alpine and blizzard 5500. We did ride them 16 miles to the event. Thanks Craig and the nutters!!!!

I believe the 1995 XLTs onward motors were 597 vs 580 and the 96 XLT SPs came with 38mm carbs.

Dang man Dennis's 97 ultra spx leather snow suit it epic. Lots of sweet sleds on that ride. It always boggles me now a days seeing 90's sleds on vintage rides. like dang man it wasn't to many years ago when they were the current.

I'm not sure. That 72 Suzuki was pretty close. Might have been a couple 1970 Cats.
Would've been cool to be there. Knee was not yet cooperating. However, I've put over a hundred miles between a couple of sleds this past week! Just in time to see the season wrapping up. 😥
