I got a Z Flip 5 and love it, cameras don't bother me because I'm not constantly taking pictures and what I do take look good enough for me.

Wish people would stop comparing fold to a slab phone. Different markets and customer needs. Lots of confused folks with what they want. Kinda like Google Pixel Fold users and that great slab front screen LOL

there aren't a lot of phones that are in the same market for fold, I appreciate people comparing it with the ultra and other phones and pointing out the differences that might be important for some people, it helped me decide whether I want to buy it or not (and I did, no regrets)

In Sweden, if the plastic from the phonepackage is opened you cannot return it. Even if you havent used the phone. Box opened no return

zfold 5 first samsung i ever had its pretty cool but if the s23 Ultra didn’t gave curved glass which makes screen protectors hard to use i would have got that

Literally the same. I had a galax s something before I upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, then just recently tried the 15 pro max but felt like I upgraded to the same phone so I just ordered the flip today, I’m so ready to try something new instead of buying the same phone each time I upgrade

Actually, it's better optimized than the ultra, therefore it outlast the ultra in battery life. The camera is great on the z flip, but amazing on the ultra. So it's literally fine with camera work. Also, it has features that ultra doesn't and vice-versa for the ultra. So no the ultra isn't better. It's just preference.

I got it too, but its camera isn't that good but it doesn't matter.
Comes with Samsung's patented pocket heater/ hand warmer. As you use it it heats up your legs and hands. I use both so I can confirm every model past the s20 overheats.
I have both. You really can't compare because we're both two different categories of phones. And each one is nice for certain situation..

I used think I wanted the biggest and best thing but honestly turned off by the insane price tags of everything now and maxed out specs I never fully utilized. Let's be honest you're not going to notice slightly lower specs on a day to day basis unless your life is boring and you're staring at your phone 24/7. I have zf4 thinking of getting z flip 5 or an actual flip phone because I feel like I'm wasting more time on my phone.

I'm a photographer who loves the z flip 5 crappy camera and all. I'll upgrade to the 6 with it's 50 mp camera. Once you enjoy the size there is no alternative (phooy on the Fold)
Bricked flip 3 in 9 months, babied it , dead pixels in the middle in the crevase appearing and after a while whole halfs go off. Never getting another flip again.
I had a flip and traded it in for the s23, 100% worth it. Immediate difference in battery, display and camera. The flips just aren't there yet.

Well speaking of the ultra 24 even though we're not speaking of it in this video, what really pisses me off about it is I'm starting to hear rumors about green lines going through the the monitor and that in order to have the screen repaired you have to factory reset your phone?
You absolutely do not have to do that because it has been confirmed by Samsung than it is not a software installed issue that causes the green line.
It is a manufacturing defect in the screen itself.
It's replacing about 20 minutes very easy replacement.
Completely paid for by Samsung and they provide all of the third-party service centers with the screens.
Come on! Parker has literally every new phone from most major brands, you can match him!

I dearly love my Note 20 ultra, which I've had for the last couple years but I do wish it could fold or be more pocket friendly, therefore I love the idea of getting the flip 5. My concerns is how much of a drop would be there battery life and the camera quality compared to the Note 20 ultra. Obviously there's a difference but would it be that much to notice?
It’s the same size. Half the length at twice the thickness. It’s not pocket friendly.

Stupid facts not everyone cares about a power powered brick. Im an apple user and I did cross over to a zfold3&4 as ipad minis and the flip looks amazing. Samsung customers are lucky. Still not a massive fan of Android. I'll switch back once apple does it.

I made a switch to the z flip 5 from a S20fe5g and i must admit i love it. I also love my s20fe5g but i have had Folding phones before with the moto razr and when Samsung teased us with the videos for folding phones years ago i was interested. I waited until the z flip 5 came out because i wanted the bigger front screen. 10 mp cameras are ok for me although i can't understand why they didn't put the same cameras in as the the s20fe5g. The photos this phone takes are great for me although it has been a learning curve with the way cameras are positioned to hold the phone in landscape position. I don't often use it in the folded position only to check my notifications. But i do like the fact it is easier to put in a bag or pocket, and it seems lighter than my previous phone although in dimensions it seems very similar. Previous flips seemed to be a lot wider and thicker although that may have been an optical illusion. Overall I'm really happy with it and glad i got it.
Wrong. The Flip 5 is a Razr 40 Ultra wannabe. Samsung has a history of issues with their foldables. I have owned 3 variants of the Motorola Razr and never had an issue with the screen, plus the crease is much less noticeable.
Mum has ultra I have zflip5 and all I can say is it’s opinion. I love my phone my mum loves hers and we wouldn’t swap or have it any other way 😅. I love having yt premium and in flip mode watch music videos on the train 😅 the zflip5 is amazing but so is ultra BUT IF you like little cute things, this is the perfect phone for you

@PeopleRTheProblem you have 2 screens on the flip 5 that also amazes me as most phones have one screen n from the second screen you can literally make it have EVERYTHING on it just like the main front screen, this totally amazes me and I love it, I don't need to flip my phone up for nothing as everything can be achieved the same way from either screen 😀 u just need to know what to do to set this up.
