I had to restart my phone for it to work, and suddenly all the "disappeared" apps that were still in my phone became visible in the drawer again.

I was using an 2022 A8. Hoping this is better.

I agree with 2 hands, the iPhone cannot use the phone to charge the earbuds. I have 5 cable to charge 5 things it is ridiculous

I use Samsung half of my life,I enjoy the long lasting battery.I admit that Samsung and android they have so much features like 2 way video recording, AI picture item deletion and others. Despite that I'm just an average person, I dont travel alot to use on call translation or great edit program. All I need is Screen mirror stuff I want to watch and sync all my devices so I do my work and find my things pinging to find them. I remember only have to charge at night instead of constantly have to charge my iPhone bc it keeps dying. The best feature to keep me stay with my Apple Eco system is the Screen mirroring, location pinging, apple tag and smooth airpods changes through all the devices. Also all of my microsoft laptops starting to lag and easy to get virus because sometimes I accidentally clicked on a shady website. My 1st big girl Macbook Pro when I graduated highschool is still working. After 8 years, it is a little slow and the battery is wearing off but you can just plug in and you still can use more than 10 years. I can be any website and don't have to worry about my phone has virus, stress free.

I've been debating switching to IOS for the 1st time ever. Simply to be more compatible with our group chats and stuff. But all the oddly missing features on IOS that android has was really a horror story. lol I really need to think about this more. lol

Lol every phone has these feature, exactly the same way, long press home and tap (no need to circle) on any object on screen to search, or copy or translate text etc. There is no AI in these 😂

I've been an Android user ever since my first phone, but switched to the iPhone 7 months ago. I agree with you, even after 7 months with the iPhone I STILL haven't gotten used to not having the backward gesture. I HATE that SO MUCH about the iPhone and I just don't understand why Apple doesn't do anything about this terrible user experience. But apart from that, the other differences don't bother me that much. I like the overall design and software, my phone doesn't freeze or get slow, the Apps run smoothly and the photo quality is good. I like that it's a consistently good experience where as with Android it was a lot more inconsistent, many Apps just froze randomly. I've had smartphones from LG, Sony, Xiaomi and Realme, but overall I liked Sony and Apple the most.

The problem with the "not charging" mode on the Galaxy S24 is that in all three modes (Basic [95-100%], Adaptive [80%, then 100% before wakeup], Maximum [80%]), the phone charges the battery to a point and then "doesn't charge." So in the #9 "Night charge" example, the phone kicks out & in (and out &in...) of the "Power saving" mode. That includes things like turning off the Always On Display (unless you remove that as a Power saving option) during the "not charging" phase. That's not what I want. I'd prefer a "not plugged in" choice which ignores whether or not the phone is charging and instead just uses the fact that the phone is plugged into a charger or not. For now I'm using the "Battery level: Below <50% etc." option.

I l an S23, and my phone is not setup this way, I do not have a routine tap on my phone So this advice doesn't work on all newer models. Next time specify what models this will work😮😮😮

This use to be a free feature with the youtube app with Samsung devices until YT got greedy and locked it behind a paywall.

My question now is, what is this LTPO that is making us pay premium prices for our phones doing for us if we have to still go through battery saving methods? I've been thinking about this to be of no use and it has only entered the tech market to squander our money. Some phones don't have it and they last longer than those that have it.
