I love my zflip3 so I'm going to get this one for my birthday!! I'm at 2.5 years with the 3 and it has cracks and bends at the fold. I noticed it about 12 months in but it does not deter me from getting the 6! I get SO many compliments on my phone, it is amazing and easy to carry in my pocket as a woman, and I've never met another person with this phone! People still go, "What is that? A phone?" Lol
I had the first one and it loss pixels twice and the tech told me to trade my phone immediately when I picked it up because the screens on foldables weren't sturdy enough and they were repairing them daily due to pixel loss. I did and got the Ultra 23 but I really miss that phone.
Its definitely a different experience, as someone who uses both i think you'll miss the outer display of the Fold but the portability and fun factor are much higher on the flip. Enjoy!

Yes! I've helped 5 friends change from iPhone to Samsung. Took 2 to 3 weeks but none of them would go back. I had a Flip 4 but was unimpressed by the crease and the camera. Now have a S24u (superb but big in the hand and the pocket) so bought a Flip 6 last week (kept the S24u!). Crease barely noticeable and great camera. Fits great in the hand and pocket. You will be blown away with so many features on any Samsung that aren't on any iphone! Come out of that walled garden and into the fresh air!! 😅
I'm so jelly it got the 50 megapixel camera, I bought the flip 5 late last year. I can't wait to see what new featers are added to this line in a couple of years. I'd say that with every generation, they are getting even better.
I've gone from the Flip 4 to the Flip 6 and am very happy with the hardware and camera improvements. I think the obsession over the crease is overdone but I do agree it is hardly noticeable in the Flip 6.

I just upgraded from the 13 pro max to the 15 pro max and it’s just as good a phone as every other iPhone. Might as well have kept my 13 pro max. I’ve got 30 days to return the 15 pro max and I’ve already got the z flip6 on preorder lol

I got the complete series of z flip phones...I can say without any doubt that the crease become more visible after opening and closing the phone times over times...that's why they are sold in the open position....if you think about that any foldable if sold in closed position would improve revenues greatly cause of a smaller packaging and the drastically increase number of phone transported in just one pallet versus the opened packaging mode. I project pcb myself, so once understood that, I started using flip phones in reverse mode, I mean, i leave them open at home and close them only when going out,,, you reduce stress on crease almost 50% and it is even way smarter using that this way, you get the advantage of smaller unit only when really needed... if they were engeenered to stay closed the most of time, they would seel them closed as I said

Tried the fold 4 for a month 2 years ago. too heavy and bulky. The flip at the time wasn't up to par so i got the s22 ultra. Looks like the flip is finally on par with other high end devices. Looking forward to the next model in a year to upgrade. Telephoto lense would make it 🤌

I'd like to see a follow up vid. I'm concerned about durability. My flip 4 screen broke after 2 months. Samsung gave me a full refund as they attempted to fix it but the screen kept popping off. Too bad as I liked the size and feel of the phone

My 4 after 2 years is kind of beat up in the crease super noticeable now ......but that was expected time for the flip 6 hopefully it holds up I'm pumped for the bigger outter screen
the charging is my biggest issue from not getting it. there is this deal for 569 euros you get the flip 6 and the watch 7. But I am currently on a perfectly working one plus 10T phone with 120 watt charging.
i came here after watching the review of the xiaomi flip mix. At first, i wanted to get the xiaomi, but reading the comments conviced me otherwise. This phone is just too beautiful.
2:20 I admit it is definitely notably improved, and much better now. However, I go back and forth with another "regular" phone, and I can still feel the little catch when I go back to the flip. For people who've been using regular phones, this will still be a hurdle until they make it completely flat to the touch.

In the UK, it is new and costs around £450, and this is a much more sensible price for a product prone to a shorter lifespan, especially for newbies wanting to try out the form factor. Don't pay $1100; that is a rip-off, especially outside the US, where trade-ins and deals are much lower. As for the Flip 6, it is solid with few negatives apart from the pricing outside the US. If history is any judge, it should drop by £400 for a new version on eBay in the next few weeks, so I would wait. But Samsung has refined the form, and with some luck, you could have a foldable that lasts 3+ years with no issues.

@brianalvarez4345 it is just as durable as your other phone. You can also get phone insurance. I switched to a flip and fold from iPhone and now I go crazy whenever I have to use my wife's iPhone since it is so much slower 🤣

The crease becomes just a little bit more noticeable. I just compared flip 5 new screen and screen that has been used for a year. I didn't notice the crease was a bit more visible until I compared it to a new screen in the flip 5. But honestly it's still barely noticeable. Only people who don't have a flip phone talk about this. Everyone who has it isn't bothered by it. My flip 5 is my second flip phone after having flip 3. I'm never going back to regular phones again.

I am still holding out on the razr because last year the cameras/video was much worse compared to flip. Flip is very smooth and good looking in comparison. If the razr has better cameras this year then it's a really close matchup. Looking forward to comparing them in a week or 2

Does anyone know if you can get magnetic cases? I have a magnet holder in the car for gps but also just to hold it for listening to podcasts. I can't imagine having to find a different holder, mine works perfectly.
Ive been using the Fold 4 for a year now and everytime someone mentions the unnoticeable crease I never get it, because I havent noticed the crease at all unless im looking for it and the screen is off
It gives me a headache. I'm a Flip5 owner and although I'm very happy, the purchase bonuses available in my country are giving me a headache and thinking about switching. The original price in my country for the Flip6 is $1,245. If I trade in my Flip5, I'll get a $450 discount plus a $214 "Trade-in Flip6" bonus, so the final price of the Flip6 would be around $581, which is already something very hard to ignore. Ideas, advice? :D
The question: is paying $581 for the extra features of the Flip 6 over the Flip 5 good value? That is very subjective and also dependent on your disposable income. For me, it is not worth it.
Honestly, ive been using the flip since the 3rd, and the crease is i will admit bothersome and takes time getting use to, i use to be an apple user before i switched to the Flip, but once you do get use to it, you hardly even relaize its there, it turns alot of people off, but to be honest, as someone whos been using the Flip for years as my everyday device, its hardly even noticeable.

Same here. Hoping that the small front screen will keep me from doing more than just checking notifications. I definitely need to reduce my overall screen time.
That's part of why I mentioned it's good for tasks that you don't need a whole phone screen for like timers and such. Get used to doing small tasks on the outer, then you're not diving into your phone with 100s of apps as much.
Flip 4 user here - currently have broken my phone, it just switches off as soon it is folded. Have been using it with screen open, and my phone usage has gone wayyyyy up. Have ordered flip6 and can't wait to get it.
I'm curious to know if the z flip 6 can finally use the cover preview with 4k60 video recording because my z flip 5 cannot. I'm mostly frustrated with this cause I only record in 4k60 and not being able to use the cover preview is annoying.

Only people who don't have a flip phone talk about this. Everyone who has it isn't bothered by it. My flip 5 is my second flip phone after having flip 3. I'm never going back to regular phones again.

I had the first one and it loss pixels twice and the tech told me to trade my phone immediately when I picked it up because the screens on foldables weren't sturdy enough and they were repairing them daily due to pixel loss. I did and got the Ultra 23 but I really miss that phone.
I wish this at least had wireless dex. That's the only thing keeping me from getting a flip. The moto razr line has readyfor on its flips
I am still holding out on the razr because last year the cameras/video was much worse compared to flip. Flip is very smooth and good looking in comparison. If the razr has better cameras this year then it's a really close matchup. Looking forward to comparing them in a week or 2

Download the goodlock app from the Galaxy store. Go to the "life up" menu at the bottom, then multistar, I ❤️ Galaxy Foldable, and enable the launcher widget. You can then add whatever apps you want to your cover screen. Have fun!

Does anyone know if you can get magnetic cases? I have a magnet holder in the car for gps but also just to hold it for listening to podcasts. I can't imagine having to find a different holder, mine works perfectly.
Ive been using the Fold 4 for a year now and everytime someone mentions the unnoticeable crease I never get it, because I havent noticed the crease at all unless im looking for it and the screen is off

I'm a Flip5 owner and although I'm very happy, the purchase bonuses available in my country are giving me a headache and thinking about switching.
The original price in my country for the Flip6 is $1,245. If I trade in my Flip5, I'll get a $450 discount plus a $214 "Trade-in Flip6" bonus, so the final price of the Flip6 would be around $581, which is already something very hard to ignore. Ideas, advice? :D
traded my S21 FE for the flip, cost me 700€ (1200€ without all the discounts). For now, no regrets !!!
The question: is paying $581 for the extra features of the Flip 6 over the Flip 5 good value? That is very subjective and also dependent on your disposable income. For me, it is not worth it.
Honestly, ive been using the flip since the 3rd, and the crease is i will admit bothersome and takes time getting use to, i use to be an apple user before i switched to the Flip, but once you do get use to it, you hardly even relaize its there, it turns alot of people off, but to be honest, as someone whos been using the Flip for years as my everyday device, its hardly even noticeable.

Flip 5 for me is 6-7 hours SOT. Getting 7-8 hours SOT so far on Flip 6
Best part was seeing the Bible on your front screen, God Bless you. I’m switching to this phone to primarily use the front screen and limit my screen time.
Same here. Hoping that the small front screen will keep me from doing more than just checking notifications. I definitely need to reduce my overall screen time.
That's part of why I mentioned it's good for tasks that you don't need a whole phone screen for like timers and such. Get used to doing small tasks on the outer, then you're not diving into your phone with 100s of apps as much.

Flip 4 user here - currently have broken my phone, it just switches off as soon it is folded. Have been using it with screen open, and my phone usage has gone wayyyyy up. Have ordered flip6 and can't wait to get it.
