I prefer questions I can't answer to answers I can't question.
Science is based on testable ideas. You don't need to have faith in science, though many people do. You can understand every aspect of science and test it yourself, if you have the energy.
Religion is based on faith and does not stand up to testing against reality. Just because some people treat science like a religion, doesn't mean they are the same thing.
Being willing to decide you are wrong when facts disagree with your ideas and come up with new idea that match the evidence is not how religions work.
This is a comedy show, not a ted talk

Preaching to the converts, mate.
When I run up against stuff that doesn't bear scrutiny in a religion, I just remind myself that it's a metaphor, and I get to decide what that metaphor is about.
And that habit helps you realize/remember that constructs in science are metaphors, too. Space and time themselves for instance, haha I'll paint your house and steal the ladder, one of those is true!

Those who say they don't believe in anything don't realize that's their biggest belief that "they don't believe in anything."
Pretty good, had some laughs. Just want to say that you can have spiritual beliefs without religion and they can coincide with science if you so choose because you can believe whatever you want to believe. There’s plenty of non-religious spiritual material out there if you’re looking for a starting point.
Why bother though? Why does anyone need "spirituality" anyway. It doesn't even mean anything.
@@DemstarAus It means what you want it to mean. Picture it as a way of understanding the universe as another layer on top of what science can explore. If you prefer to believe there is nothing beyond the physical, then that’s the end of the story for you and that’s fine. If you’d prefer to imagine that you do exist beyond your body, then there’s an entire realm of ideas and possibilities to explore. It’s a thought experiment that becomes belief. But not necessarily belief that you would act upon, like you would with religion. It can add more color and meaning to your life. It’s up to you.
How does one uncover 5% of something infinite?
It's about composition, not extent. Imagine a the universe as a potentially infinite cake. (I say potentially, because I'm not sure that we can say with certainty whether or not it is in fact infinite.) We haven't mapped out 5% of the surface of the cake; what we've done is figured out 5% of what the cake is made out of.
The universe is not infinite.
The universe is expanding into infinite nothingness.

Religion is based on one book. You can't dispute it or question it. Science is based on questioning everything. That's why it keeps evolving.
Ironically 'science' has become a religion.

Although that book contains fantasy and deceit there is some Truth in it. It appears that there is prophecy that has become true in our day.
That two horned Beast the lamb that come out of the earth. that Great America truly appears to be that beast, posing as a meek little lamb, but is a vicious powerful beast, the last world dominion.
And in the book of Daniel, the two feet of the great image, the last word dominion, truly appears to be that Great America. In the end all dominion will be abolished. Dominion is the Great downfall of Humanity.

And Christianity also promote Cannibalism by a ritual that they pretend they are eating Jesse's flesh and drinking his blood.

it's awesome cos it's true. the "enlightened" West replaced "blind" faith in God with blind faith in science. we the ordinary people have very little understanding of either. so what's the difference?

If you think anyone with scientific literacy has "faith" in science, you're either ignoring the Bible's definition of faith, or you don't know the first thing about science and falsifiability.
Faith is like a broken clock. It may be right twice a day, but it'll tell you any time at any time you want. There's NOTHING one can not justify with faith. Even opposing stances.
I don't use faith, and if I ever do, I'll change that immediately. I use degrees of tentative trust depending on the available information. And if there's no information, I don't go around filling all the gaps with a Sky Daddy who is undistinguishable from unexistent. I say "I don't know", because I prefer my choices to be informed on reality rather than some self-illusioning fairy tale.
