i wondered the same but if you watch his older stand up he's always been shaky holding the microphone, it's probably from drinking too much tbh
More likely its an issue of too much alcohol, or what’s called an essential tremor, which is what I have. I didn’t realize that was why I tend to death grip writing implements. Its not typically a big deal, but it is a little annoying when I’m trying to write or type. But its not debilitating.
And I forgot to mention that his comedy is my favorite kind of genius. He’s just brilliant!

Moran is genuinely one of the all-time greats imo. If you're actually interested and not just trolling you should check out some of his older specials. I haven't seen this one yet so I can't comment on it but the specials he put out when he was younger are unreal. One of the best to ever do it.
