This guy is a comedic genius. The first time I ever heard of him was when my son showed me a couple episodes of Blacks Books, and not long after that we had the good fortune of seeing him when he did a show in Cleveland. The one unique quality about his style, imo, is that he can't be boxed into a few minute routine. I've seen a few clips where he was on talk shows, and he's like a passenger plane that has no runway. Those audiences can't appreciate just how good he is because his routines take time to unfold, and it can't be done in a few minutes.

actually the electric television, that we use to this day, was invented in Utah, America, then first produced by R.C.A. in New York City. The Scot version was just a joke that would never be produced. ever. cause it was fundamentally not producing an actual image. But Scots like to lie.
