Timeless classics in a time when you could say what you wanted with out abit of affence meant just fun that's why it was called comedy which we don't have any more. ❤️
Thank you so much for replaying these much love series. At 77yrs I never thought I'd see them again. Everyone used to love them. I wish there were some like it today but sadly people don't have the same easy sense of humour.

Maybe I'm getting old but Kate Williams who played Joan looks pretty when I watch this now. I never thought of her like that back then. I thought Barbie was pretty back then but not Joan, yet now I do. It's strange how time changes our perspective.
Try £5 per week. That was the average weekly pay back then. So 3 weeks pay for two nights stay, rip off. Equivalent to £1500 in today's average wage. I wish people would do the conversion before they say it was cheaper back then, it wasn't!
Had an amusing incident in my local Wetherspoons last month which rather reminded me of this episode. Pub was completely packed, sat down at the only free table and a young lady came up to me and asked "are you hear for the 'Leavers Of Britain meeting?" (I voted 'Remain'). Even more amusingly it was not less than 15 minutes after the government had just been defeated on the finance bill and the coverage of Parliament was being shown on all the TVs

Wonderful memories of a time when you could have a laugh
Jacko's lines are hilarious.
Cap and scarf😂😂
But only half 🤭🤭
Pity the politically correct brigade, spoiled it for the rest of us, there is not a decent comedy show on the telly now.
Let me guess the world's a disgrace you use to have to walk 2 miles catch 2 buses then had to walk another mile on your own just to get to nursery
Then you might want to try looking elsewhere. Plenty of decent shows out there they're just not spoon-fed to you anymore

I loved the over acting at the end😂👍
It was filmed in November as the leafs are not in the trees
Anyone else noticed the different window on bill’s house, some episodes there the same as eddies, and some are like this one lol
Bills laugh is priceless
15 quid for two nights in a first class hotel. What a bargain.
