I've heard people say The Golden Girls was their television family. As a 62 year old orphan i would like to say - This is MY television family, now and for always!
You've brought up an interesting question. For everyone reading this, who is YOUR television family? I really like the Golden Girls, but I've never thought of them as a television family. I'm 45, so I'd have to say that The Cosby Show or Family Ties was my TV family. I miss those days of campfire television. Everyone gathered around the only tv set in the house and shared some wholesome entertainment together as a family. It's a shame that kids born in the twenty-first century will never experience that really. Everyone has their own device and can watch full seasons at any time.
@@stephenturner757 well, sounds like this might not fit your definition per the Golden Girls, but the 4077th on M*A*S*H was probably my TV family. Potter, devotion to your family from BJ, and an appreciation for a strong woman from Margaret.
My heart goes out to any orphan of any age. Wouldn't it be marvelous to spend time after hours with them all inside a pub? Nagging on each other all the time during working hours, but notice how on lunch break they all sit together and commiserate about their jobs. I love this part I busted a gut laughing
Just wonderful! Damn, I'm laughing...
Just love this program
No argument there☺
Mollie had the most beautiful eyes, especially when they made them up like this. Emerald green suited her eyes well too.
Brilliant concept! They are our treasures!
Did anybody notice that when Mrs. Slocombe came in her hair was all knotted up and a few minutes later when Humphries came in her hair was perfect I guess in the five minutes between her coming in and him coming in she went to Madame Berill's to get her hair sorted out
Or she changed her wig
It was a hair piece attached to the wig. I would love 2 have that wig collection!
Madam Beryl's
I love love this show
