Rockin the tache Spencer....tre cool😎! In Australia we have Movember in November...dudes grow moustaches to raise awesness of men's health...so I think they look awesome (on most people)! I can't wait to see the cabin all done. It's so exciting. Then you guys HAVE to do a super cool tree house. No matter what you guys do, I'll be watching. I use to have picnics on the property where I grew up...me and my furry BFF! So many good times. I miss living so close to nature and the natural environment. I'm so over suburbia and traffic and trains and light pollution and weird smells wafting from the many resturants every night. Oh how I long to be outside at night, see the bazillion stars in the sky and just hear the sounds of nature at night. You guys are so so very lucky. Don't EVER take it for granted! I'm a huge fan of mustaches. I sport one myself. You, Spencer, are not a 'stache guy. A short beard or clean shaven is your look.
As far as looks go, you are absolutely correct about your wife. It also looks like she's an amazing mom filled with laughter and patience.

Hi, I did not notice your mustache until you brought it up. It looks good either way. My son has the same kind and he has to comb it everyday to make it look good. That it like head hair. One thing though it needs trimming. Ultimately, it's up to Mckenzie to tell you if she wants it or not. Personally, I think a mustache is a symbol of admiration, respect, and all the good stuff a man in the early century enjoyed. I'm talking about wealthy men, kind of Old English men of "Cream of the Cream". That's just me.

If you have freezing temps have the water pipes going in the inner walls as you probably will not heat the cabin always during winter. It might help you not having the pipes burst.
Should have a way to turn off the water and use an air compressor to blow out the lines when it's not in use then you wouldn't need to worry about them freezing and bursting. That's what I do to my camper when parking it for the winter and never had a problem.
The wife and I have watched you LONG before the kids were born, and there's no doubt in my mind that you couldn't put out a HILARIOUS blooper video!

I had a great idea for the Cabin. Since it's called a 'Cabin', you should put wooded, rustic shingles, or other wood-like paneling instead of siding on the outside! It would look so cute! Good call on the tub! BTW, love the mustache, but try thinning it out a little, unless you like bushy. lol Looks great on you.

You guys are building a B&B! You have enough land, some units scattered around the 'hood' could be magical!
once got it built. get it weighed. then put it on axles :) tow it like a trailer if your lucky and can keep it around that 15k-18k limit. to pull with no cdl. but to make it easier to transport each time. use a small tire trailer. built to the shipping container.

Just make sure you can have outside ventilation flow completely through the house. 1 small log in my family’s cabin was enough to make us open the front door and back door and pull freezing air through the house to make it a comfortable warmth.

If you want to heat your house with wood you can get an Outdoor Wood Burner. It is away from the house and it transfers heat to your home via an underground pipe. All the mess stays outside too. It can take 4ft logs. It's a nice dry heat. They are even used up here in Canada.
Yes! Am concerned about the moisture as well as carbon monoxide factor in this air tight, enclosed cabin space.
@@paulaanthis4031carbon monoxide detectors are out there. It usually gets hot so a window is cracked. Wood is safe warm heat
