- I have the all new Ruger Max 9 CA (California Edition). This could be the best new #1 budget friendly pistol available in California. I take it to the range for it's first 200 rounds, take it home for it's first cleaning, and talk a little bit of politics. Thanks for watching @firstnaturebackland

Thank you to @scottystarr569 for pointing out that I did not mention what I thought overall about the Ruger Max 9. The video had only been up for a few hours so I deleted that video and re-uploaded the edited one. Thanks again @scottystarr569! And I hope you enjoy your Ruger Max 9 that you are picking up in Fremont today!
Just got the ruger max 9. Solid. My wife loves it also.ty for this video.
I have a LC9 and think the Max addresses the trigger pull, plastic rod and adds 3 rounds. Will say Ruger is a top notch company. They pinned the front sight (loose) and replaced the plastic rod (slightly bent causing the slide not to go into battery). Both at no charge. I’m local as well (Elk Grove).
I’ve never fired the LC9 but I know it’s a popular choice. I really like Ruger as well. I have the PC9 carbine with a Vortex Crossfire II red-dot. I plan on doing a video soon. Plus they are made in Prescott, Arizona. I lived in AZ a long time and I love that town. Elk Grove has grown a lot. I want to check out that new casino out there. Thanks for commenting and watching!
I’m in Natomas. Thank you for the info. I’m considering this for my first handgun purchase.
I love mine. It’s so comfortable. Just something to keep in mind - with all handguns, the smaller they are the harder it is to be accurate. Practice, practice, practice. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the lci demonstration
Love mine too
Very nice. Thanks for the video.
Thank you too!
Thank you for the video, Sir! I got mine in January, but haven't been to the range yet.
Give it a good cleaning before taking it out to get that factory oil coating off. Enjoy! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the review. I want one now.😅
Thank you for watching. Check one out at you local shop. 👍
Nic navy pictures I was in the navy 87 to 91 and the max 9 is my cc now over my p365 feels better in the hand and more accurate
I like the Max 9 over the P365 too. I shot the Sig P365 once. I didn’t like the feel. The grip to me felt too thin. The Max 9 fits much better in my hand. I served 2011 - 2018, ET2. Thanks for your service and for watching, brother.
Thx for the video. I have bought from Mike in the past. Good guy. I was wondering can you add additional sights to this Ruger? Thx
Fantastic! Yeah Mike, owner of American Tactical Firearms is a good guy. Unfortunately, I heard through a friend, that this might be his last year in business. His business is falling victim to California’s SB1384.
Unfortunately the CA version of the Max 9 does not accept red dot sights due to the loaded chamber indicator. At least not at the moment. The front and rear sights can be replaced. Maybe someone will develop a red dot that can replace the rear sight?

Right on! Thanks brother! Hooyah
I just was thinking you look familiar you said you're from citrus heights and that's where i am. Thats so funny lol
It’s a small world! You rock!
Bro! That should have been a dummy round..
I think you are referring to when I demonstrated the loaded chamber indicator. Thanks for your concern. I did not feel that snap caps had to be used for that demonstration. I know some folks may feel differently, and that’s ok. Safety is every F.A. owner’s responsibility and I demonstrated safe handling of the F.A. Using a live round to demonstrate the loaded chamber indicator itself does not create an unsafe situation. It only would’ve been unsafe if I mishandled the F.A. in some way. But I do appreciate your thought and respect your stance. In fact, I think I will state something to the effect of safe operation in my videos moving forward. So thank you for for contribution.
Stick to the he guns👎
Thanks for the advice 👍
To Commiefornia you mean.
