Do these men know anything about football? Nebraska had 4 chances against weak teams to qualify for a bowl game and failed. The current backup is very good at Colorado. Had a fine game in his only start at Utah. Dylan Edwards is a fine player but is not a run between the tackles guy and that MUST change this year. I agree that Deion made mistakes, but he won 4 games against coaches who also made mistakes. Matt Rhule made just as many in his late season 4 game losing streak that was never mentioned in this story about how good the Children of the Corn will be this year.

I have always liked Coach Prime. He knows that it can't just be about the football when you're leading young men. It's not necessarily about educating about things, but also about how to be a man and how to take to learning. It's wisdom that Coach Prime is trying to reinforce. I understand that it takes time to change a program and a culture. There was always going to be issues early on. I hope Colorado gives him the time to put his imprint on the program... but if not? Someone else will benefit.
