Actually Ou has probably only recruited out of the top 10 3 times in 30 years typically smaller classes they have average 3rd to 7th for the majority of the last 20 years
As a Nebraska fan I can attest to this, do NOT under estimate the Golden Gophers. That team will beat you up way more than you think. P.J. is happy taking his 3 yards a carry and keeping the ball. You don't walk out of that game physically feeling good, like Iowa, and Brett's Illinois team.
Tickets for the Oklahoma game are sky high that will be a great atmosphere for auburn.
Vegas predictions for team win totals are among the lease accurate, of any predictions made at sports books. That's just a fact.
Give me 10 win totals from last year that were way off. I only remember Florida (5.5), & Miami (7.5) win totals.

to people that dont keep up with OU. every level of OUs defense has a all conference type guy (billy bowman danny stutsman damonic williams) we have depth at every postition on the defense. BV has said he feels much better at the QB position then he felt last year, which says a lot because we had DG. are wide reicevers are undoubtibly better then last year, are TE room is better, and are RBs are better and have had more experience. the only position that we may be slightly worse at is O line, but it may not even be that much worse because we still have some dudes on the line. just lacks some depth. some more names other then the 3 all conference level guys i mentioned are deion burks who will be a top WR in the sec and has blazing speed. nic anderson 6-5 was are leading WR in TDs, he cought a TD pass like every 3 recepetions. gavin sawchuck who was dealing with injuries the first half of the season, but in the second half of the season (last 5 games) he had well over 100 yards in each game, and had over 7 YPC. we have 5 guys on are intior defesive line that are going to be between 310-330, we have PJ adepewore coming off the edge who was a top 10 recruit in the nation in 2023, we have another edge player named ethan downs who was all conference TWICE in the big 12.

I've never left a rating but... might have very little to nothing to have with your show per se. ESPN is viewed as the force behind conference realignment. A lot of people are VERY unhappy about many changes in the sport and view those changes as being pushed by ESPN who it seems, want to change college ball to NFL lite. I'm an OU fan, and our D should be stout. The issue for out is, a BRUTAL schedule. We'll see how OU holds up. I'd be happy with 8 wins which normally would be considered bad but I'd be happy with.

They listed Oklahoma and Florida having the twotoughest schedules. Riley didn’t know anything about offensive or defensive line. He knows absolutely nothing about defense. Frost had left Nebraska the way his coach Tom Osborne had. I see maybe not this year but Colorado will be the same easy game we expected out of them in the big eight, big 12, and PAC 12. Colorado has as many or more players leaving as they have coming in

The Oklahoma fanbase js incredibly tired of these sorts of takes. People who didnt/don’t follow the program think this. People who follow the program predict 9-3, maybe 8-4 if we stumble. Some are predicting 10-2 at this point after seeing the offseason progression of the roster.
Yes we have a tough schedule, but we likely beat Tenessee, Missouri, and Texas (yeah yeah Texas is better on paper, but they’ve always been better on paper and we have won 4/5 of the last matchups).

I don't think OU's schedule is actually as hard as its perceived. I don't think many of the teams on their schedule are even going to play good defense this year. I'm thinking Syracuse is the big surprise this year.
With the exception of Vanderbilt playing the Sooners to a draw in 1933, SEC has never won in Norman. So I'd put all 3 of those home games in the W column for OU until the SEC proves otherwise. If you want to make the argument about Texas A&M , the Longhorns, and Mizzou winning there, then fine, those teams have won there eleven times since 1901.😂
The issue with this argument is that the OU program and the current OU team are not the same program and teams that have one against these teams in the past. Nor are the SEC teams the same as they have been in the past.
I do believe that Oklahoma will be a top 10 on the field team however. And can beat anyone they play. But same goes for like 6 of the teams they’re playing. It’s just a tough schedule.
The only Longhorns that ever have, or ever will, set foot on Owen Field, are former OU players. Ironically, that includes some of their best coaches, including the one their stadium is named after, or so I hear. Never been there; never will go there.

@kaelocasio1575 Clemson had no real receivers last year which is the reason Miami stacked the box and shut down the run game. TE Jake Briningstool had a career day but he was the only bright spot of the offense. This season Clemson is returning Briningstool, a more mature Klubnik, the best RB in ACC and a couple 5 star WRs. Gonna be a great Clemson offensive season.
