Looks great! Love the flashing accesories too 😂😂
Thanks Gary, They were a secret Santa present about 15 years ago, and I found them a while back and was amazed they still worked on the original batteries 😂
Glad to see the "disability" mods working chap
Ah ! My manbily clamp and ball mount has just arrived, and I’m hoping it’ll make a massive difference to the setup 🤞🏼 It certainly feels more solid now than the original did. Disabled, indeed 🫵😉
Simply top stuff
Thanks Sam
The thump of satisfaction, those rounds don’t half hit with a thud eh! Proper job two less to worry about. Great video as always fella.
Thanks very much chum, I’ve got some new ammo being built for me that does not exit the other side, but detonates inside turning the insides to jelly . They should be fun to use
Nice setup 😎
It is, but I’m still looking at things to improve, somewhere to put the caller remote for instance, and one viewer suggested a flask holder 😀👍
Nice one mate, great bit of kit, and still no shortage of volunteer foxes!
Hello Stephen, adults too, I was expecting to see youngsters as I’d not been over to that farm since last August, the week before my first hip was done
They'll be there for another time I expect.
Watched few of your videos now. You need to slow down a bit and get steadier that will stop the unnecessary misses, no shame in not shooting because you aren’t steady. Good vids tho.
Oh if only we lived in the perfect world. I’m always happy to take along someone to show me how to do it. Feel free to contact me chap, and I’ll sit and watch.
@@predatorprotectionuk just trying to offer a bit of friendly advice to help out that’s all. I used to miss A LOT! From rushing and flinching and someone told me to slow it way down and get steadier it helped out no end.
Yes I know chap, but I try to include the viewer into the actual event, so sometimes you will get shaky cameras and the occasional miss, but it’s as real as it gets. Most folks won’t show that, because they never miss, do they 🤔😉 Don’t give up, is what I’m trying to get across to folks new to shooting. Thanks for your support and the message though, hopefully folks will see the comments
@@predatorprotectionuk that’s fair enough. At least you have plenty to go at, the place looks absolutely riddled with foxes!
@@predatorprotectionuk Totally agree, I like watching several CZcamsrs, take 260 rips for example, seems a nice chap and fantastic at the long range shots, very entertaining. I notice recently starting to include the odd miss but only at a magpie or stone that's hundreds of yards away, but that's new. Maybe he never does miss a fox, but it sometimes seems a world apart from the up and coming shooter, I think the truth is , everyone does miss at times, I do, I can have a few cracking shots and then fluff up an easy one🤷. David keeps it real and relatable and has some cracking shots along the way too. There is definitely logic in taking your time, but then again there's plenty of times when foxes won't stand still for more than an odd second. If it's lambing season especially, you ask yourself do I take that split second chance or let it go to potentially take lambs after I've called it a night.
1.36 how many humans or cows did you kill after the bullet went through the fox and hedge , how did you get your licence my friend
You obviously know where I am chap, and what’s making up the surrounding area 👍 Good point well made. Answer None.
Their great chairs had one and sold it. Big mistake on my part🤦♂️
Oops
The puppy’s privates ?
No stopping you David the Ideal back chairs are a good bit of kit normally use mine in the pigeon hide with out the rests 👍
That’s the clever thing, you can easily remove the bit you don’t need, they’re so light too
Idleback chair has been around a long time now... never really taken off like they wanted. Too heavy and cumbersome really
I certainly wouldn’t say they were heavy David, not something you’d cart around over your shoulder like they suggested though
A very handy bit of kit Dave, so whats next I wonder? Perhaps a remote control rifle so you can just drive round a operate it from you driving position 🤔😁😂 your welcome 😂
Thermal on the roof, so I don’t have to keep driving round in circles to get a view of the left side. It’s only on Hollywood films where thermal can see through glass 😀😎👍
That seat and rest wobbles like a dogs bollocks ,!m surprised you can hit anything.
Hi George, still got time to watch videos, I thought you were on holiday 😎 Have a great time
Nice work Dave 🦊💥👌
Cheers matey
For those like me without a pick-up-truck, I use a seat that revolves through 360 degrees, is comfortable, lift & remove the padded seat & it exposes large storage built in as well as storage pockets around, is light enough to carry with its strap & cost around £40 from A1Decoys. HOORAH.
It's been as while, just wanna hope you're repairing well. Good shootin', Good luck. Good 'elf.
Hi Bruvva, Yes all good matey thanks 👍
@@predatorprotectionuk Sweet.. Glad you're 'ealin' & don't 'av' 'ackney. sorry, cockney humour.
Now that's very good old, come how much 🤓
I’ll tell you when I see you 😉
Nice work on the foxes nice seat yes the dogs bullocks 🦊💥👍
Hi Chris, So you’ve got to guess which one said that ? 🫵😀
Necessity is the mother of invention sir.
If you say so, 😀👍
Needs a flask holder 😂apart from that brilliant 🤩
Hey ! I never thought of that .. What a FAB idea 👍
Enjoyable outing David, I know it's been an enjoyable bit of viewing for me with my mid-morning coffee break, and for this, I thank you.
You’re very welcome Reg, nice to hear from a Canadian viewer too 👍👍👍
@@predatorprotectionuk 😄
Great video do you use the feeders all the year round or stop due to their natural food available cheers
Hello Tony, I only put the feeders out when I’m planning on doing some squirrel control. It gets a bit costly to leave the feeders out for long periods of time just to feed the odd one or two. Thanks for watching David
Well done David keep knocking them down your lucky everything round me is up to your waist 😢 very rude your foxes not even the bird from them after all that calling 😅 them cockchauffers are called may, June or July bugs here depending on when they hatch out. Great video mate keep at em 👍
Hi Pete, that’s it for a while now matey, thunder storms all night and it’s not stopped torrential rain since 7pm yesterday and it’s still raining here now. Always the same as soon as Wimbledon starts, summer goes . I’m going to try and get a rubber boat to shoot from, there’s hundreds on the beaches in Kent that have only been used once 😂😂😂😂
@@predatorprotectionuk yeah raining here too did go and have a look at a rabbit job again last night but was raining then police turned up again so had an early night lol 😆 got more ferals on the list for tonight so should be better in doors
Nice work there David and Jethro! Haven't had a daytime fox yet, (with a rifle), have with a shotgun on a pheasant day while walking through cover crops. You must of been well concealed.
Hardly concealed Stephen, I was driving around in my Isuzu all the time. But it’s been fitted with a kill switch, perfect name really. My mate wired up the ECU with a switch that cuts power to all lights, bells and anything that makes a noise or light. That deactivates when I put the seatbelt back on, so I don’t drive off up the road unlit 👍😉
Sounds a pretty awesome set up!
@stephenoshea1166 drop me an email chap and I’ll send you a picture of my car boot sale bargain
Cracking video old chap, with some nice shots, keep up the good work 🤓
Cheers Johnny, how’s your foxing action recently with your new Alpex ?
@@predatorprotectionuk oh it's not going to well, I've got a very cunning fox, so I've got to up my game, but I have a cunning plan 🤓
@johnallen8618 have I got to drive all the way up north for the night 🤷🏼♂️🤔?? It’ll cost you a night’s entertainment, roast pig , just what you got when you visited me last week 😀😀😀👍
Great video once again. Nice shooting.
Thanks very much chum 👍👍
Great job I like the way you don’t take to much time on the shot
Sometimes you don’t get much time , unlike squirrels who fidget around for ages. I’m always conscious the Fox with notice the IR light and spook, so I try to spot it-scope it- shoot it in around three seconds
Thanks, David. Great shooting and footage. Many thanks.
Thank you for watching Mick 👍
Nice one Dave some good shooting there mate 👍 keep up the good work pal 💥🦊👍
Cheers Keith , thanks for watching chap👍
Nice bit of foxing bang on 🦊💥👍
Thanks Chris
Smashing video m8, great content 👌
Thanks very much chum, I got lucky one weekend with my lot 👍
Another enjoyable video mate. How would you rate the CZ 527 in .223 ?. I don't do a great deal of fox shooting, so I don't want a small fortune sitting in the cabinet. LOL
Hello chum, Honestly, I’ve no idea mate. I’ve not had any experience with a CZ, other than trying one of their magazines in my Lithgow Arms rifles, as they are apparently a direct fit. Mine don’t 🤷🏼♂️
The cockchafer we call them buzzbombs in Nottinghamshire, great video and channel 👍
Thanks Chris , I can understand why you call them that ! Bloody Annoying things
Few foxes cleared up there! Well done but my favourite bit of the video has to be the cockshafer bit😂🦊🎯👍
Well thanks very much ! My next video will be two hours of Cock Chafing action 👍👍🫢 Let me know when you’re ready to sit on my car and get attacked
Well done sir, how many is that this year?
Hi Steven, I don’t count until the end of the year mate, I don’t want to jinx myself
Wahl good result, but the foxes looked like bears!
Maybe so John on a pulsar device, but that’s why I changed over to HikMicro, Foxes look like Foxes 🦊👍👊
There is creep in that trigger, first stage is very long , too long to my mind, and a good group could have been much better had you taken a little more time. Nice gun.
I JUST WANTED TO SEE HOW HIGH A RABBIT CAN JUMP I DIDNT THINK YOU WOULD KILL THEM OH MY GOD
There is a warning at the start of the video
Well done lads, great prize to win 👌
How do you get the quality to be so good, in sunny weather I have my aperture set to the maximum vertical and it kind of degrades the quality so either half way or all the way down. Looked into the menu and can’t seem to find any video quality settings Great video good shooting
Hello Karl, I think it’s just being lucky with where the sun is chap. The brightness and contrast are on 5 and the aperture was fully open on the days I filmed this video. Unlike the Sightmark Wraith I own, you cannot adjust the video settings, I think as it’s a 4K camera, that’s what you get 🤷🏼♂️ Maybe sometimes, the choice would be nice to have though eh ? 👍
Awsome. Congratulations guys.
Thanks Robin, what a pity you and the family were not able to attend, but I’m sure we will meet up at an event sometime 👍
Happy birthday to the other day 🎉 and congrats to the winner😊
Cheers matey 👍
A belated happy birthday 🎂
Thanks very much Tim 👍👍
Happy birthday, David
Thanks Mick 👍
Still can't believe it, it must be my lucky charm, Lucy the star of the show 🤓
Or you bribed my Niece 🫵🫢 Well done matey, I’ve spoken to the other winner, David, and be sure to put the first weekend in February down for a dog sitter, the last thing you’ll need is a puppy fidgeting under your feet.
@@predatorprotectionuk Roger out 🤓
Blackwood will sometimes give agood price especially if buyi more than one....doni hurt to ask.
You’re right about that chum, it’s certainly not compulsory, but as you said, if you’ve spent a lot on other things, a shop can massage the numbers if they’re happy to
Congratulations to Johnny Allen and David Lynch. David has just contacted me and we’ve booked up the first weekend in February 2025 👍
Looking forward to it . Be nice to meet you and have some time shooting.
@davidlynch4437 I’m sure you’ll have a great time David, at the moment, there are on average 20 boar in the garden during the day and night, so they know where to find food in the winter 👍🤞🏼
What a fantastic day celebrating with Des and the Filcom family, so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate new hips and a 62nd birthday with some wonderful people. Des you are truly blessed with your amazing family 🥂🍾🎂🤗
