Thermal for spotting only, well that's my opinion, so that said it would have to be the Alpex
Well done Michael, that’s the idea of the video. I think in Andy’s defence though, he was very new to the Stellar and the focus wasn’t always as sharp as it could have been.
It’s probably far more suited in longer range foxing etc
Great bit of bunny bashing and i think both scopes are brilliant, i will get a sq50 at some point after having one on loan for many months. The best thermal scope ive used to date. ( In my opinion)

@eoinwestman6222 have a look at the video I did sitting next to Robin in the Forest of Dean.
We did a joint video with me using another night vision scope and Robin with the 4k Alpex .

Went foxing the other night I use thermal to spot alpex to shoot. There was a cat sat on hedge row front on thermal looked like a small fox when scope was on it easy see it was a cat for that reason alpex all day
Yes I get that, but it’s the movement that denotes the animal, AND , how they respond to sounds .

I would rather have the Senopex A7 or S10 than either of these options.

I’ve not heard of either of those items.
I don’t personally think you can fault any scope once it’s perfectly in focus and set up for your own needs.
Remember Andy only had my Stellar for a day before going out with it for the first time, it can take several sessions to get used to all the settings and options available on a new bit of kit.
I think to hit rabbit as far as 100 yards with a new bit of kit, on a windy night, Andy did a pretty decent job 👍
@@predatorprotectionuk Absolutely no criticism of Andy or anyone else. I am simply pointing out that having looked through both Hic micro offerings and indeed Pulsar scopes i would rather use the Senopex range. The A7 in particular has a base mag of 7 and one press of a button gives you a really good 14x image, instead of Lego foxes or a black/white blob you get with Hic Micro or Pulsar scopes. Blackwood outdoors distribute Senopex products and Ian is brilliant to deal with, i am sure if you contact him he will arrange for you to compare the products.
