1. I’ve given my car to a friend as I’m not permitted to drive.

Hello Alex,
So far so good with the second hip. Although it’s not been as straightforward as the first, with a complication with a reaction to something the day after surgery that ended up with me in a very sore bright red allergic reaction !
Starting to move a bit more now though and enjoying listening to the dawn chorus each morning, and looking forward to being back outside again. 👍🤞🏼

Hi & good morning, I to have an FX FAC maverick in .25, My question is about the clamp you use on the stick, can you let me know exactly where on the Maverick you fix the clamp to. I have tried various polymer clamps but none hold the rifle, even when screwed up tight they flex to much, I note this clamp is CNC aluminium.
Appreciate your comments & excellent vids.

Hello James.
Any clamp you choose to use Won’t close enough on its own to clamp your FX.
I use a two inch long bit of 1 inch square wood, and wrap it in electrical tape.
Then put that in the clamp and then you’re actually clamping the rifle on one side with the face of the clamp, and the other on the wood.
Just by moving it to suit your needs, you can have it so it’s easy to feel the trigger. My bit of wood touches the bottle gauge as a rule and then you’re clamping on the flattest section of the rifle.

The Zulus is a fantastic scope it looks 4k but in fact it’s only 1080p HD
