Lived through the 70's . The point of moving in together without the benefit of marriage was still a point of contention between generations. People may have been coy to dialogue about it on TV but all mixed sexes in a household were still married and might even have still used twin beds .The first mixed roommate situation comedies have yet to arrive but were on the horizon.if I am not mistaken.

So unrealistic. Nobody would marry someone if there is uncertainty about all the medical bills that the healthy spouse would have to carry and pay. Besides what's the rush? They know each other only for a few days/weeks. What's gonna change? And the parents are being so noble, taking out a mortgage etc. It just doesn't make sense. Very overdramatic. 😵‍💫😀
