Nancy's relationship with Michael Kagan, Willie's writing teacher, is threatened when Kagan vilifies Willie's script. Part 1 here: • Family - More Than Fri...
I've never seen a show even close to how good Family was. It should have won a lot of awards. I can watch episodes over and over 40 years later and still feel the same. The cast and writing were amazing. Surprised it isn't mentioned more when old tv is talked about. I remember feeling uncomfortable when they brought Annie in because I thought the family was so special the way it was. I wish they would open up the 3rd and 4th seasons. Glad we can find some episodes on youtube.
I wonder why this episode had to be divided into 2 parts just for a couple minutes extra. But whatever, I'm happy to see this show uploaded, thank you very much Xanthas71! I am enjoying watching it again, haven't seen it since the original run when I was a teenager.
Gotta love Kate. She's actually mad that Willie wants to go back to school and eventually get a real job instead of writing a horribly hokey script and doing nothing most of the day. Way to go Kate way to parent.
I can't stand nancy and am not that fond of willy. Both of them sleep with anyone who shows an interest and willy "falls in love" pretty well every episode. The standouts of this show are Kate and Doug. The kids are...I'm not a fan.
...David Selby did however portray Olivia Walton's lovesick art instructor in an early Walton's episode. Selby and Bower have similar sounding voices, but Selby is handsomer by far.

I can't get enough of this show. Takes me back to my middle school years. Love "Family!!"
...I love it. It's like spending time with an old friend when neither of us was very old.
@@user-mj8nf2vp7q Justin, I am in complete peace when I watch this gem of a show!
@@reneebraxton1032 I couldn't agree more. I'm binging on paid COVID-19 ADMIN LEAVE. Stay safe and sound! 👍
@@user-mj8nf2vp7q Same to you Justin.Stay safe and sound.
@@reneebraxton1032 👍🤗
Technically isn't showing that script to his class before it gets published not good for Willy
IDK if I would have called him ,
Part two for five minutes 😅
CZcams's editor wouldn't allow me to combine the two parts!
I think the professor was on Dynasty and Falcon Crest.
He was on Falcon Crest.
The evile Richard Channing on Falcon Crest.
David Selby also played Quinton Collins, the werewolf on Dark Shadows! Yeah, I'm pretty old to remember that!
@@hyacinth4368 You and me both. I was 9 when he first appeared as Quentin on DS and he was my first crush. He's 83 now if you can believe that.

I think you missed the point
I DON'T REALLY LIKE NANCY'S CHARACTER VERY MUCH.

Isn't the guy playing Michael in this, the guy out of the Stepfather movies? Much younger but it looks like him....
He also played Quentin Collins on the original Dark Shadows
@@valferguson8322and David Selby was also on Falcon Crest most of the 1980s as Richard Channing!
@@cidweinberg I never watched Falcon Crest… didn’t know all the actors who showed up on seasons…
Is the actor playing Michael the same one who married Mary Ell6 Walton?
No Tom Bower played her husband.

My least favotite
