Hey Nanny - you are so talented…it is so relaxing to watch you paint those rocks. The camel is turning out great. I’m glad you are going to continue doing that in your videos. Did you say 96 degrees??? Wow, I don’t think people know that houses in CA weren’t built with central air - it just wasn’t needed. I guess a lot of people are putting those “splits” in now, is that what you have? I agree that dresses are the way to go in the heat, although I love them year round. Hi Nanny! When you talk about MuuMuus you bring back pleasant memories for me...we were an Army family...my dad was an Army physician and we had the opportunity to go to Hawaii when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I still remember my mom buying me and herself a MuuMuu...mine was beautiful blue and white and hers was red and white. So many fun memories about the MuuMuus and being where things were more casual and relaxed (in the 50's) Thank you for the memories Nanny! 😊❤

These garments are my favorite pieces to shop for no matter where I go. I just cannot get over my excitement about your rock painting!!!!! The way you sketched the position of the camel to fit the rock is so clever!!! I, too, have started wearing summer dresses, boho style with tiers and also my one and only caftan. And they are sooo very much cooler than my shorts are for the very reason you stated...the air goes right under and up the dress!! Mine are the longer length and I love them! That camel rock is sooo cute!! You are so talented and this rock painting has got me thinking to paint some for my great-grandsons for their Mama's garden and to remember me by. Just returned from my trip to AZ. Mercy, the sun 🌞 is definitely brighter. Was sick the first two days, altitude change and temperature change. I could never live there but had a wonderful visit with my daughter and husband. Worth it all. Watched your videos from Tucson 😊.I told my daughter about you and how much I enjoy your channel 😊❤

Just curious Nanny how were you able to travel so many places with so many kids and even live there....maybe I missed it...did Moosie's job require it.. just wondering. I love heard about these places and after working hard for so many years i am having a hard time from trying to do nothing a few days a week...haha ..my mind is always nagging me. Cleaning, bills to pay, dealing with a bad medical system here in my State, house repairs are over the top, it all breaks again and finding smaller homes that cost more than where you are living, it seems there is no relief and no options. My husband is already gone before Covid and no family...I am ready to move there.... love this idea of Niksen. I do find life now more difficult than it needs to be.the System has us. Thank you.
