It's actually impossible to tell how steep those inclines are, caves are so disorienting. For example @ 16:36 this can be previewed as any angel of incline. Caves are so silent and still, so old and dusty and repetitive that it seems you could EAISLY get lost in one or get very disoriented and possibly go mad. I imagine times in the mines got lonely, extremely lonely, and that's probably why they did things like stack rocks into beautiful walls and went through all the effort to perfect a lot of their craft from the wood work to the style of mining. As a kid I've always imagined real life dungeons like this and thought they didn't exist but these are it right here. And they're so beautiful

25:10 The fungus is eating the lignin, the protein glue of sorts holding the cellulose fibers together, so the wood just disintegrates when nothing's holding those fibers together, really pretty fungus hyphae though
