Best mine exploring I've seen in years
Awesome video, good to see you releasing videos again. Your on my list of ones to watch along with TVR and Mines of the west.
A fine selection of mine exploring channels to watch (although I might be slightly biased)...
Hit the ball out of the park with this upload. Nice home run! Quality images, loved the running commentary (priceless)!
Wow what a great location! The equipment is fantastic! Looking forward to part 2! Great to see another exploring video. Great job! Ted
Good to see your back on it .
WOW, dropping things down that Huge Bore Hole was impressive. I am hooked up to 7.1 Surround and that Droppage sounded EPIC ! I really Enjoy these, Thank You !
Man the rock on the exterior alone is beautiful, veins of crystal, dynamic color variation. And that’s after eons exposed to the elements! Excited to see the interior.
I'll be looking forward to it
Excellent,thankyou.
Your partner is cool.
Cool video! I’ll be watching Part II. Glad you’re recording again. Thanks!
“Wow look at the size of that roller / Bull Wheel” and “ Look at the Size of this Pipe” Not the first time Boxy has said that 😂
That was a great video!!!! The best I have seen in a long time!!!!! 🤠🤠🤠
That's pretty awesome
Real Cool mine!!
The sounds from that winze are incredible, I would love to hear that in person. A sound effects engineer would kill for some samples of that 😂
A fantastic mine thnx for exploring it wow.
What a fascinating mine! This was a great video. I can't wait for part 2.
@18:36 - The solid thud of that wooden box is also sonically pleasing.
Did I delete that fireworks suggestion comment? man that #2 video intro at the 1,200' borehole.. I was like toss in a brick of Black Cats! but you guys really came with it! thrilling sounds, you should sell that chit to a moviehouse sound-tracking a spacewars flick.
I’m glad that you were able to get down to visit some of the mines in Florida… It’s always surprised me that the Sunshine State doesn’t produce more mine explorers.
Friggen love the old footage of daily workings
Brilliant explore Boxy. Very unique looking mine. That winze was odd looking, it looked bored, not blasted?
When you came across the nails I half expected you to say something like "Ooh look. A pile of tetanus". Very interesting mine.
@14:40 - I was ready to make a comment on how I was listening through a Tascam US-144 MKII to Sennheiser headphones because the sound was so good -- then I got here. Get the absolute frig out. If you're an audiophile or sound kink, listen to the previous few seconds on respectable equipment. I may make that my wake-up alarm.
I love your comedy shango 😂
25:10 The fungus is eating the lignin, the protein glue of sorts holding the cellulose fibers together, so the wood just disintegrates when nothing's holding those fibers together, really pretty fungus hyphae though
Contact! This is your AM radio speaking~
! Is that uranium or what? A pocket of cancer dust?
There was a mine near Silverton that had a tramway still hooked up in the late 70s that looked like your video...pretty neat!
Nice quartz veins in that mountain...NB: At 22:10 that narrow little ore chute might actually be a gold riffle - was that a gold mine? Really a weird place for one though....someone high grading??
Yeah, the problem with wet mines is all that dry rot and corrosion. This one is episodically wet, thank goodness. The ones in the Sierra or the Rockies can be so wet that nothing survives.....as you guys know well!
More sparkle pony master charge crystals! 😊 Cheers...(was some of that fluorite?)
38:00 I just had the strangest idea about panning mine floors that are like that... I don't even know this is a gold mine, but I suspect it's a part.
I think I’m ready for my core sample doctor 🤪👨⚕️
Your buddy on this trip kinda sounded like Tommy Chong 😂
And you can tell he's not part of your regular bunch of guys lol. The communication sucked and he kept stepping on your video.
Still a GREAT video though man!
@15:27 - as if it wasn't already good enough, you kick it up a notch. I had to pause and crepe-erase my ears before listening again. I'm super down with Rybelsus now.
👍
At 25:30 those are hoisting glide slides. Perhaps for pipe? It looks like infrastructure for core drilling.
Tungsten skarn deposit? There could be great fluorescence with short wave UV light.
WATCH OUT! you just woke up the GOBLINS!
You can sure tell the Utubers that were never miners .
Are you really trying to wake the Balrog??
have you ever encountered morloks?
Protect your tools and cover your family jewels 😂
Watched hundreds of mine videos and this was the most creative, thoughtful and content-filled of them all.
