Not sure why people have to burn mines ....never understood that ....that Lee makes the best maps 👍 I have seen some of them of Delamar and they are incredible.... nice looking ore cars ..... love those long ladders ....good explore sonny Jim
Oh yes, Mr Wiskers Mine. Actually i understand the mine caught fire during operations, that from some old fellas camping across the way, who said they worked there.
I heard that some so-called explorers are afraid of bats. So, they start fires to smoke them out. Frickin’ idiots! Glad to see you helping your lady friend with her repelling gear. Next time, it would be fun to see you having your party back at camp. Maybe just a snippet. Thank you!
Well that qas fun! Nice to see the operating ore cars. That shiv wheel looks "low" .. im guessing it dumped the load on a lower level for transfer to the surface and this was a "hoist level" Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
The timber work reminds me of the mines here in Cornwall UK. Do you know if they were Cornish miners, as I know they traveled all over the world with their mining skills and it does look very similar to the layouts here. - They just followed the 'lode' when they found it, building the timbering as required. People have mined here in Cornwall for several thousand years, although a lot was surface cropped in the early times. I love your mine films, so fascinating to see the different mine workings! Many thanks! - By the way, do you have 'Knockers' in your mines!? (They are the race of little people who used to live in and guard the mines, here in Cornwall!! There are many tales of them!)
In Colorado they called them "Tommy knockers" and they were associated with incipient cave-ins. I haven't thought about that term for many years! Lived in Silverton briefly in the 70s, lotta mining history there...
Wow, this was a good one! Sad that someone burned some of it. As for the light, Boxy, I think it’s good! The shadows gives a “there” quality to it, IMO. What really cool ladders and ore chutes! That timber work is amazing! And the ore cars are just the icing on the ore cake! Awesome vid guys, really well done!
Hello from Australia opal miner here those timbers propping I understand very shaky ground to require that much propping .to do that amount of work I guess the vain was worth it ,it sure as well not was an exploratory drive .
Had to laugh when you were discussing the OJ can! Thanks for sharing.
Can't believe he was assuming the gender of those oranges... How inappropriate for our time...
Man, those guys went kinda above and beyond with the wood working compared to other mines. Railings? Unheard of.
Early ADA compliance?
😆

When I worked at the chewing gum factory I fell into a vat of fresh chewing gum. The boss chewed me out.
@@TheBigMclargehuge LOL Funny!
I see a very cool tv series! Put some kind of creepy background music on it, bring out the personalities of the miners. I love this!
