While Castform's stats changing depending on its form could be kind of fun, it'd still probably be for the better to keep its stats consistent between forms. You don't really have full control over what form it's in so having its speed, bulk and attack stats vary wildly would probably just make it harder to use. As for what kind of stats it would have, I think just a decent stat buff to the original spread to make it slightly more specialized would be enough to make it more usable while still staying true to its spirit. Something like this: HP: 70 Atk: 70 Def: 70 Sp.Atk: 90 (+20) Sp.Def: 90 (+20) Spe: 90 (+20) The more significant upgrade would be to its Ability. I love the idea someone had that Castform could automatically set any weather by holding one of the weather extension rocks. Maybe it could also have the effect of neverending weather as long as Castform is on the field. I'd also give it Recover for some extra longevity like you did.

The Skitty/Delcatty thing is made even worse in Ruby. In Sapphire, you can get more Moon Stones from wild Lunatone. The problem? It’s exclusive to Sapphire, in Ruby these are replaced with Solrock, which instead can hold Sun Stones, which you already can get one of in Mossdeep City and only need one for the dex (to get Bellossom). But for the dex alone you need two Moonstones: One for Delcatty and one for Wigglytuff, meaning without trading you can only get one of those two in Ruby.

Imagine a 9 year old opening an used game and being stuck in an island with 5 pokemons with 64 pp in each move at lvl 100. Starting to invest on those pp max's now.

remember Triple Kick from the anime, loved the move when i saw it, disappointing when i got it, love that Triple Axel became a thing and hope it inspires move Triple Attacks, and since there is both Double Kick, and Double Hit, and so many 3 headed pokemon, there should be a Triple Hit, or Triple Play move, it could be Fighting, or Dark, or a type without a lot of Multi hit attacks, i think Ground for Triple Play, or Triple Smooch for Fairy Types....who wouldn't want Hydreigon giving them 3 kisses, or Probopass i would turn Grudge into a Ghost status move, wounding it (like Curse) or randomly Sopiting a move's PP by 2-3 every turn and angering it(use Cleanse tag, as a consummable item to remove it)....Grudge could also be a 1PP move (like Revival Blessing) that wipes out the PP of the last move used, it would go second, and not need the pokemon to faint to work i have a soft spot for Inferno, especially it's direct translated name is Purgatory, i would give it to fire and non-fire types that are super angry, resentful or mischevious....Capsakid/Scovillain, Houndour/Houndoom, Impidimp line, Inkay line, even Primape/Annihilape i looked into Compoundeye pokemon or pokemon that learn Coil, Sizzilpede/Centiskorch are the only ones that fit

Before i say anything, my points come from someone who doesn't play competitive, plays only the base game and certain online events "Mightiest Mark" eg, who plays alone and prefers it , most of my tips will be to make the base game more fun, especially to someone who wants to raise all pokemon that i bred, to learn all their moves and raise to Level 100, playing over the game for over 1000hr each game, and doesn't want to play with other people: considering they"improved" Tackle and Rapid Spin with more power, increasing the damage a bit would be fun (not alot,unless you want to make a Base 60+ trapping move, 2-3 turns as a signature move), you can give other effects, like lowering defense, a raised critical rate for each turn a move is bounding an opponent, yes give a move a small critical hit chance each turn, you could stack trapping moves, like wrap and fire spin, or new versions of Leech Seed (for different types, with different effects) that can be used with other trapping moves, you could also create a new ability or attack that gains power if used by a trap pokemon, or a trap "sharpness" ability that increases damage/accuracy, or both, an untrappabvle ability or a "early bird" version, like Parole, allows you to easier escape trap moves

I've tried using a Seviper before. I can say it's actually fairly phenomenal if you ev grind it in speed and attack/sp.atk for coverage or stab moves

Yes, you can soft lock this way by carrying out these super specific things. If the Finneon is even level 99, you’re fine. If you carry a pokemon with fly or even a second pokemon with surf (or that could even learn surf) you’re fine. If you have a pokemon with teleport you’re fine, etc etc. How unnecessary is the dramatization tho?

I would actually be fascinated by the introduction of an alternate evolution for Skitty that does have much better stats and give dex entries that imply the same sort of thing as Alolan Persian but the other way around, that this hypothetical new evolution is what Skitty becomes in nature while fighting for its life and Delcatty (as the delicate cat) is the result of generations of selective breeding for contests.

You forgot a few regarding the starters. Servine should have been half dragon, Pignite being half Ground instead of YET ANOTHER fighting Pokémon, and Oshawott be half Fighting.

You forgot the wasted potential that is Sableye. Spiritbomb became what it should be but it never got a chance to shine besides its Mega. How would y’all fix it? Another is the Treecko line. Grovyle has useless non-grass moves that makes the middle evolution hell to advance with it. I wouldn’t mind having is be part Dark so it won’t be the only mono starter in Gen III. Speaking of Grass/Dark, Shiftry needs better stats and movelists.
