- I Made Every Pokemon Move Random... This was super cursed and fun. Can I Beat Pokemon FireRed when every single move's power, typing, and accuracy are COMPLETELY randomized?
This video is similar to videos such as "Pokemon, But I Can Only Use My First Six Encounters" and "Pokemon, But I Can't Evolve," or basically any Pokemon, But video. This is a Pokemon Randomizer challenge.
Not a Pokemon Solo Run, or a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet playthrough, but a different type of Pokemon Challenge: Beating Pokemon FireRed with every move randomized. Inspired by Jrose11, Mah-Dry-Bread, and Smallant! This video is also similar to other Pokemon Randomizer challenges, but instead of the Pokemon encounters being randomized, the moves are.

Just found this part so funny, sorry: "I get the finishing blow with my first ever move, Scratch"
Proceds to use Earthquake lmaoo
Yeah, I used to make quite a lot of script errors lol
There is an alternate universe where water pulse is indeed a flying type move, has a generic name in Japanese but was localized as "water" pulse in English during Pokemon Red and Green, and is Gyarados's signature move instead of Dragon Rage.
"evolving Eevee into Jolteon was a mistake..." - i've been there too, Woop
At least it's not Flareon...
Gyarado's water pulse is even more OP since in gen 3 all Flying type moves are physical. This seems like its a fun challenge, also congrats on 800 subs mate
yeah, I was really stoked to see water pulse be a 100 power flying type attack. Made Gyarados super OP.
Also thanks! I need to watch some of your newer vids, just been busy lately
@@PokemonWoop Don't worry about it my friend, I have also been really busy as well
Would have been nice to see more of the randomized moves showcased. Even if just in menus.
Solarbeam didn’t change at all haha, 120 power Grass type move
You should do this same challenge in a gen 5 game
Starter with basicly bolt/beam coverage, kinda sus
(/j)
Upload this as a rom hack
Cool idea! Seemed pretty crazy
indeed it was...
This video is so fun, we need more haha maybe on some even crazier games
congrats on 900 subs!
thanks!!
Why are all the moves so cracked? The random distributions seems way off normal?
I just hit randomize on the Universal Pokemon Randomizer and it just picks a number between 20-150 in multiples of 5 for each damaging move. In retrospect, the challenge was kind of just memorizing each move's power. If I remember correctly, I did get a couple of low power moves, but I never ended up using them
Now thats a great idea!
And kind of chaotic
Definitely a chaotic challenge
QUACK QUACK MOVE
I agree
How did you randomise the moves? Can you link the tool?
Where can I find the full video of this?
This is the full vid
New sub
Too much underrated
Thanks a lot!
Who is "Rival 5"?
I only know Rival Fival
Not a very interesting topic. All you have to do is find a Pokémon with a super op move and your search is over. You can use that one Pokémon to sweep the entire game.
clickbait thumbnail bro
Play a lot of Pokémon, as I open up and use the Universal Pokémon Randomiser then change things.
Full TM/HM compatibility, Pokémon that can only evolve from being traded can evolve from level up, easy catch rate, and etc.
Sometimes change things to not be just easier but more of the randomised like anything encountered in the wild or the moves or the move attack/PP/type, or Pokémon held item. Playing the generations of 1, 2, and 3.
You get get a measly 20attack Cut or a held item that is the TM for Psychic but it has 130 attack and 30 PPs, or Hyperbeam that is Ice and has 20 PPs. My changed are probably influenced by the fact I also have moves be the version in generation 6 then have them be randomised so the game has them aim for more powet as it is programmed.
For these runs I suggest Pokémon that have balanced stat, using full TM/HM compatibility and held items. You can also press the space bar to speed up the game to 500%-5'000% accelerated.
Yeah, I'm definitely looking into messing with the randomizer some more. Full TM/HM compatibility would be very interesting for weaker Pokemon such as Magikarp (like could a Magikarp that can learn every TM be able to beat the game?)
@@PokemonWoop
Yes, playing through a game using the weakest but any TM can probably work. After all people have beaten a game using just a Caterpie of Magikarp by itself so using any TM or HM it might work.
A little Caterpie at level 80 using Ice Beam to beat a Gengar would look awesome and it might not be all that hard.
