I genuinely love both of hoopa’s designs. The movie in my opinion was very good and is probably the reason why I like it so much. If it could get a buff I’d say it should get the prankster ability, it’d heavily boost its support and ability and would make up for its poor speed
That would be a very good and fitting buff, and honestly I think they should maybe make Prankster it's hidden ability in Legends Z-A when it comes out. And I'm glad to have found another hoopa fan! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day :)
In Pokemon Unbound ,a fan Pokemon Game about Hoopa, Hoopa gets Prankster as a hidden ability.
I honestly really love using Unbound in the SV OU metagame despite its drawbacks. It has great set variety with mixed sets and being a good special sponge. It is decently viable in the metagame currently, and i have a ton of fun running it on a team.
I would use it way more if ogerpon was never released. Though I will admit, it is fun to run mixed sets but with nasty plot just for a little bit of trickery
@@theREALexpiredBanana It's difficult to bring in on any physical attacker, but it can 1v1 most special attackers with some investment which i find a lot of fun on Bulky Offense structures
Hoopa is ou in nat dex mainly because stall is still good in nat dex because pokemon like ferrothorn are legal and blissy and toxapex don’t have nerfed move sets.
Reminder that ferro isn't a stall mon, it's defo bulky and has utility but it has little to no use on stall due to it's lack of recovery and their ability to fit pokemon like skarmory without worrying about momentum sinks :)
But yea, hoopa tears up defensive teams
@@patrickstar8132 it has access to leech seed and even though its not the same to reliable recovery its def been a staple of stall teams for years

Thanks! I assume that's where most people find out about Hoopa because it isnt shown much in anywhere else. Especially since like I've mentioned, it's falling down in usage.

It did have access to powerup punch in x and y, but after move transfer were cut(stupid as it is) it lost it's only way to buff attack.
I do still wonder why of all moves, they got rid of powerup punch
This is a lot of words to say U-Turn was a mistake. Especially since despite being a Bug move, almost no Bugs get it.

You tellin me hoopa couldnt just shave off that psychic type and be ghost dark?
That makes a lot more sense than psychic, I think they should do that. Only being weak to fairy fits it's lore too. I don't know why a god able to manipulate space is weak to tiny little bugs.
