- In Pokemon, dealing super effective damage is one of the key elements when battling. Well, what if there was a Pokemon game where using anything OTHER than super effective moves is BANNED? In other words, can you beat Pokemon FireRed if ALL OPPONENTS HAVE WONDER GUARD? This was crazy...

Anyway, this video was a bit interesting. To make this challenge, I just painstakingly changed each Pokemon's first ability to wonder guard, so even Pokemon I obtained had a 50% chance to have wonder guard. Also, this video has just been sitting as private for over a month (around the same time as random types), which is why the audio sounds the way it is. Still, hope you found it interesting! Let me know if I should try this in different gens!
is there any chance you'd be willing to release this romhack as a patch? I'd love to try it myself :D

Most Gen 1 in 2 pokemon in generation 3 have the same move set.
You should do beating Pokemon with only berries (Tropius with Natural Gift/Harvest Hidden Ability)

My dumbass thought how the hell did you hit koffing with a ground type move forgetting that all enemy Pokemon have wonder guard. Imagine if it added the abilities on top of the old ones, that would be hell. If that was the case, the only solution for koffing would be a psychic type move and the only pokemon that can learn any psychic type moves at that point is butterfree
yeah, that would've been a big issue. Unfortunately, I'm not a coding wizard so I just edited all of the Pokemon to have their first ability be wonder guard
Im tempted to try this out with Platinum. I think it would be possible but im not entirely sure. The only obstacle is spiratomb but i could toxic stall it i believe

Is your team have WG ability? Just thought since all foes and wild pkmn have WG?
So the way I made this was pretty inefficient; I manually edited every gen 1 pokemon's first ability to be wonder guard (since trainers always use the first ability). This meant that I had a 50% chance for my team members to have wonder guard, so I would have to find one with its natural ability
