In Honda land, CB stands for "City Bike" . I own two DOHC CB750's, (1979, and 1981) which have a BHP in the high 60's . As city bikes, they perform well on high speed highways. This 750S with mid 40's horses manufactured years later, although cruiser class when considering the angle of the fork, I'd be concerned about putting it on the highway.
If you have to "justify" buying a Harley, don't waste your time and move on.
Sounds good
Beautiful, i bought one
Got same wr crackin wee bike
i want to buy a hornet 900 next season!
Great video!! I am in the market for a new bike its between a hornet 900 or a speed triple...
It may have cost more than the Triumph's , but it will have held it's value more.
NO RECORDS OF THAT REG ON LINE IS IT FALSE
After watching your video I went out and bought one!!
hurts to watch....
best review of this bike ive seen. just gone out and bought one.
New rider here and I found a great deal on one of these. At age 41 I'm not tempted by the desire to almost kill myself anymore like in my early 20's so I'm thinking this would be ok? any thoughts? Would be using it for commuting to work 46miles each way and fun on the weekends here and there.
Transalp 700 is a Really nice bike !
Collecting my 2013 dct model today!!!! 😃
Which would you recommend the GSR 600, 600 Bandit or this? Or any other 600ish starter bike.
These rarely come up for sale on ebay. I mean the 2011 or pre 2011 models. Rare as rocking horse doings.
Nice bike but completely guttles had 1100was the same couldn't over take to save its life very very reliable I took mine on a trip from ireland to Scotland nearly killed me crippled .
I'm from Chicago and I love it.👍👍👍👍👍
Nice review, I'd love to hear your feedback on the newer 2018 plus fatboy
03:18 lol its nit going to kill you ?. WTF.
You really need to hold the camera steady Sir
Speak English!
I've just recently bought a '07' Hornet 900 with 19000 miles in near mint condition. I paid £2400 for it and I have to say what a lot of bike for the money. Can't see myself selling it as it does everything I want it to do!
NOT SURE IF I WOULD WANT A BANDIT S, A. B. S. WOULD NOT BE SOMETHING I WOULD CHOOSE TO HAVE, AND HAVE SEEN BANDIT S VIDEOS, DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE AS MUCH FUN AS. MY 2005 GSF 650 inj. BANDIT. 15,000 MILES, ONE CAREFUL, CAUTIOUS OWNER, WHO BASICALLY RAN IT IN FOR JUST OVER 15,000 MILES, AND IT'S MAGICAL, PULLS UP A STEEP, STEEP HILL, LIKE IT'S FALLING OFF A CLIFF. COULD NEVER YEARN FOR, OR WANT ANOTHER BIKE. AND I ONLY WOULD WANT TO RIDE, OWN KAWASAKIS SINCE '83,AND MY LAST BIKE' 92, WAS MY 3RD GT550, REALLY GOOD BIKE!!!, GT750 WAS EVEN BETTER, AND MY GPZ750TURBO, CAPABLE OF 160MPH, WAS VERY SPECIAL, BUT FOR BIKING JOY, THE 650 BANDIT IS IN A LEAGUE OF IT'S OWN. AND MY BANDIT JUST GOT AN MOT AND A SERVICE, COULD NEVER WANT ANOTHER BIKE???, UNLESS KAWASAKI MIGHT PROVIDE ME WITH A NINJA OF SOME KIND? AND I'LL BIG UP KAWASAKIS. OH LET IT BE A ZX10 NINJA. REALLY THOUGH, BANDITS ARE THE VERY BEST.
Is your camera taped to an orbital sander??
good review even in 2020
Lovely little bike
How he's reviewing the motorcycle and criticizing the bike so much? It's a damn good bike , despite price... You're reviewing the bike pro vs cons , not the price vs it's rivals..
Great video! Thank you!
I have an 04 with the same aftermarket wind screen. The nice thing about this bike is it will do what ever you want it to if you know how to ride it! And the fact that it is a detuned fire blade motor makes it pretty much bullet proof as an everyday rider keeping the tradition of the CBs alive and well! it was built for a lot more RPMs and can take anything you can dish out! its a general all purpose bike but can hang with most any sport bikes and works as a commuter as well!
отлично
FIRST video I've seen on any Shadow that doesn't call the plastic chrome !!! Many vids say , Look at the chrome !!! I'm thinking crikey it's mylar call it right . Doesn't bother me that it's mylar ( it's light and won't rust ) but to call plastic chrome is criminal !!! Especially when you're trying to sell it . BRAVO for being the only vid of 100s that got that discription correct !!!!!!
Can anyone tell me if the throttle be revved in neutral ?
Holy shit dude you look gay !
Did I hear you say this bike is aimed at people learning to ride?
I need this bike in my life
70,000+ on my 919 hornet still going strong love it
Sorry, but we see too much of your face when you're talking, please spend more time filming the bike instead
you need to get a better mic
Was it a good review?
Where is he now?
I live in Italy and work for Alpinestars :-)
motorcycleluke Cool! Have you given up on bike journalism ?
@@Mike-er7ym Hey Mike, nah, I still produce content but a lsight change in tack, worked as editor of motogp.com for two years before joining Yamaha as Press Officer for WorldSBK, then moved to Alpinestars last year :-)
@@motorcycleluke Thats a shame bud used to enjoy your bike reviews! best of luck to you in your new ventures mate :0)
Had mine 5 years now and had no problems with it. Went to Germany last October 2 up and had so much fun. It's light, goes well into corners, inspires a rider with confidence though good tyres attribute to that a lot. Love the engine and fuel economy is pretty good too. Definately recommend this bike.
4 years later, would you still recommend it? I'm a beginner with no experience prior and I'm looking forward to buy one pretty soon. Greetz from Germany 👋
great presenter a casualty of the disabled black lesbian diktat
Don't understand havin to look at mugs when listening to the comments and looking at the machines attributes would be so very much preferred....
Price?
Know this in an old vid, but I just found a 2003 garage kept with 4000 miles for 2500. THE best bike I've ever owned. Incredibly fun and does all I need.
damn you look like a stoner :D
The second greatest motorcycle review on CZcams. The first is part one. I'm not 'even' joking. For this twenty five year sportsbike veteran, and current 1098s owner, this is it.
You sir...are far too kind! Been a while since I got a chance to do this kind of content :-) Ride safe bro!
Relaying a motoring experience with a level of authenticity, vitality, expressiveness, and downright charm the likes of which I have seen in no other video review. And Luke, I've seen them all. I'm just glad you thought to record and share it. From a time when enjoying the moment was more important than enjoying the replay. Thank you, and best wishes.
