During my pro rugby days I was 110 kg, obv still wish I was, only a measly 93kg now.....it was meant as a bit of a joke :-) thanks for all the comments as always guys!!
ok im confused, i live in the u.s. and the msrp for the street triple r is $9600 and the fz8 is $8490 i realize that is in usd but wouldnt that still be more?
You seem to have the best reviews that i've seen on youtube. Are you guys still making them because i've noticed that nothing's been posted in a while?
@elkfazer1 I would buy this bike over the R1 or the FZ1 because of the styling, and because of the smaller engine. Here in CA, smaller engine = smaller insurance payment hahaha. Besides, all the riding i would do would be around town with very light freeway use, so i wouldn't need the big heavy 1000 motor anyhow. If i can find one of these used, i'd snatch it up in a heartbeat (i agree, to expensive new)
New rider here and I found a great deal on one of these. At age 41 I'm not tempted by the desire to almost kill myself anymore like in my early 20's so I'm thinking this would be ok? any thoughts? Would be using it for commuting to work 46miles each way and fun on the weekends here and there.
How he's reviewing the motorcycle and criticizing the bike so much? It's a damn good bike , despite price... You're reviewing the bike pro vs cons , not the price vs it's rivals..
Typical Yamaha, overpriced again, but more reliable than a Honda no doubt with their dodgy alternators. I'm not sure what sort of person would buy this though as you may as well buy the 1000cc version. It just seems that they, like other manufacturers, want to squeeze every last penny out of their existing engine base by detuning them all...doh!
Good review, honest and to the point

211kg fully fueled I believe and 167 dry....? I might be wrong, I just thought most manyfacturers have moved to "wet" weights.

You should also put m on CZcams as I don't have TV.
