Swan sued Edison in the USA and won. So all bulbs sold by Edison were labelled Edison, Swan
That joke about beavers puts my paranoia into perspective. What will beavers do when their time arrives?
The metal mesh on the A7-LB gloves is called Chromel-R.
Get well soon lovely Dianna!
She is soo lovely! Get well soon Dianna! ❤
No gloves? Just finish scratching ur gooch and go pawing through some century old books, right on man 🤙
Now Adam has made something that will truly live forever. What an honor and gift!
No copy of Copernicus book De Revolutionibus...?
Bruh. Keith watches firefly.
Gday Brodes..... fellow oz-stanaut from tassie here. Im a numberphile, periodic table follower.... watched Destin from smarter everyday, another Brody channel. Cool
Note that Brady has his white gloves on in the intro, but not during the walk back to the Royal Society. This implies that Keith (the only thing he touched outside) is an official artefact of the RS collection.
Dude imagine doing a part 2 now how much more fun would be...
Moms have cleaned with spit and kleenex for generations 😅
Good video--- I've experienced scintillating scotomas since I was a teenager in the 1980's, now in my 50's. In my youth, they were followed by migraines, but as adult, just vanish after 20 minutes or so, exactly the same as described by Airy and Herschel. I am not alone!
9:22 reminds me of trump 😂
Why would information on rock inscriptions need to be "classified"? Hopefully I'm just not interpreting that correctly. I mean, I guess they can't be "classified" in the security sense if you're about to open them up on a CZcams video.
The crystals‘ shape looks like huge sugar crystals. What do they consist of?
Ive had this infrequently since age 31 whist shopping with my newborn! Struggling to find my way back to my car I was then unable to drive. It has happened since and is very scary whilst driving or doing public speaking. Now in my 70’s I seem to be getting a centralised vision version almost daily, but seem able to break through and continue my objectives. I do worry about long term damage.
hurray, it's the best part of Objectivity: Keith!

Oh that orchid book is exquisite
Wait. So once you're a "dealer" and sell maps, etc. you can no longer have a personal collection. Well that's just BS. 'Oh, you're a grocer? Well then, you aren't allowed to own any food now.' ETA: "I'm not allowed to keep anything I have" later becomes "this is actually in my collection. This is a never sell". So which is it? Do you have a collection or not?
Americans: “wow”
Beetle.
He's my grandpa 8x. I think a lot of people might be related to him. He not only had skeletons in his closet he had them in his basement as well. That's a joke, they were for science. He took a lot of "Air Baths" in those windows.
Professor Erwin loh research manager of universal solar missile energy power technology digital ecosystem research of general scientist and Australia joint venture group of general scientist globally peace
He looks like paul nurse.
Congrats brady. (at last I got the spelling right.) you look royal in the coat.
Screw toy reviewer two!
Just a wild guess - James Clerk Maxwell's kidney stones.
Ahhhhh Keith is Outdoors !
Very briefly..
That is just lovely. To go from the monumental tribute to the tiny. Great to see Keith and yourself outside
Where's the dooblydoo?
I'd prefer a tiny, barely readable medal that was so intricately manufactured that you'd just have to appreciate the amount of skill required to make it.
I believe if you climb the statue there is a slot for the medallion in one of the fingers. This was used as a target for Herschel to test the collimation and resolution of his telecope.
Fantastic video but I get sick to my stomach when I see one of them handling these documents without gloves. The other one has gloves on the beginning but not later on. You just dont do that ever!
Yes you do (with paper). It is preferred because you lose dexterity with gloves and are more likely to rip it. It is generally preferred in most archives I’ve been to.
Unbelievable I have been trying to make myself homework so I can get into this kind of wonder. But for some reason I can't get this to work can I get somebody to help me out somewhere? I was with Apple today earlier so I can set this up and make it work but I don't think they kinda understood how messed up I am with a cell phone. Is there any way I can get some help or go back to Apple and maybe they can help me out again
When leaving the EU, have you REALLY converted from the Metric back to the Imperial system?
always wondered if that statue was for the grand old duke of york, walked past is so many times.
very cool! Good to see you both :)
Always a delight.
Wow
Keith defending his box was sweet. I hope he signed it and gave it to Adam.
I would argue that the grains of moon dust or the forams have been the smallest objects on Objectivity, but this is a great object nonetheless 😃 Awesome video!
Reminds me of a coin in my collection, the 1/40 oz gold Britannia! Apparently the smallest coin minted in Britain in a millennium and legal tender for 50p (though worth more than that both in gold weight and for the arristry involved). Mine was minted in 2015 with modern technology amd is a wee bit smaller than this I think, which just makes this medal all the more impressive considering the time it was made!
Shouldn’t it include a magnifying glass?
Howbeit Itch Jive Kitty
I'd love to have a medal that's 4mm across
Brady and his camera crew are much more tech savvy than me, but when they got that visual magnifier out, I was inwardly screaming "Use your phone!"
