There was high memory loss with most residents non of them had statins,so chill ! too many people out there giving medical conspiracy advice. there’s always going to be polar opposite views.I believe most drugs work take the pill if you need too, chill !

Was put on Atorvastatin whilst in hospital to have stents fitted - within 24 hours of starting it I came out in a horrible rash that spread over my entire body and my tongue and throat swelled up so that I could barely breathe. Refused to take any more and the rash and swelling started to ease - 9 months on and the evidence of the rash still remains - left me with blotchy, dry, itchy skin which I had never had before. Avoid this statin at all cost….

Look up the Mayo Clinic study on Amlodipine. Lots of side effects! I am loosing my hair, swelling in gums, feet, ankles, legs, weight gain, stomach upset, short of breath, insomnia, dizziness, rash, anxiety... I have almost all the side effects. I am trying to find a doctor that cares and can incorporate natural medicine.

I've taken Amlodopine for 25 years, no side effects until now. Badly swollen feet and ankles, presctibed water tablets which helps reduce the swelling but going to TRY TO GET TO SEE A DOCTOR and going to tell them I a need an alternative.

I've taken every medication made for hypertension for 40 years. This is the most dangerous medicine I've ever experienced. My edema was so bad I had to be hospitalized.

Horrible poison of a medicine! Hairloss, severe muscle pain, joint pain, exhaustion, vertigo, muscle weakness and I had problems to walk, grip stuff, couldnt exercise and felt terrible 24/7. The same side effects on two other medicines, that are close to Eliquis. Couldn't tolerate them at all.

I take 12.5 once a day I hate this drug my goal is to get off this poison

Very useful information. I have been taking Atorvastatin for around three months now, and have noticed irregularities in my faecal movements. I am not as regular as normal. I am also taking Amlodipine, so I will definitely be speaking to my doctor in that regard. Also, I heard that your brain is made of around 70% Myalin, which is a firm of Cholestrol. So this could be why some people have side effects which causecmemory loss. So I will speak to my doctor, and have my blood sugar/cholestrol levels checked, and if necessary, request a medicine review, and a change to a different statin. But for now, I think I will stop taking the Atorvastatin.

I stopped taking it but never told my doctor he really doesn't care and is lost, doesn't know anything other than what he was programmed to think, like so many other doctors and especially their staff are so cluesless, they seem to be walking zombies that were never told they were supposed to care which they don't, EVEN THIS VIDEO FOOLS YOU INTO THINKING YOU NEED THIS GARBGE!!!!

My doctor's advice is to take tamsolin 0.4 one tablet after dinner, before bedtime. I take 3.more medicaments for lifetime, irribitsan rosuvastatine and cardiprine. What's your advice fof me, Doctor.

I was given Metoprolol in the hospital in Vegas with Lisinopril for an AV block 2nd degree and bradycardia. They did an Angiogram and Temporary pacemaker in ER then 8 hours later the Permanent pacemaker. 3 days after I had a Quadruple heart Bypass. I am still having shortness of breath after 7 months.

I have been on Atorvastatin for 20 years, and I had no problem or side affect. I'm not sure it does any good because I still had 2 heart attacks with the second, resulting in a quad bypass. Honestly, I should of never taken it. Didn't help me anyways

I found a video by an older doctor who was a researcher talking about Eliquis. He said that the claims made about Eliquis were not exactly correct. The comparison made by the ads that it is better than Warfarin is misleading. He said that the differences between the two are no more than 1 or 2 percentage points. If you want to really deal with Afib get a cryoablation and Watchman Device. That will relieve your problems and you'll never have to deal with it again.
