    Other brand names: Contiflo XL, Faramsil MR, Flomaxtra XL, Pamsvax XL, Tabphyn MR, Cositam XL, Flomax Relief, Losinate MR, Omsula MR, Tamfrex XL, Tamsumac MR and Tamurex MR.
    Tamsulosin is sometimes combined with other ingredients to treat bladder problems and enlarged prostate. Brand names include Vesomni (with solifenacin) and Combodart (with dutasteride).
    Key facts:
    When you first take tamsulosin, you may feel dizzy or light-headed, or start sweating. If this happens it's best to sit or lie down until your feel better. Do not drink alcohol, drive, cycle or use tools or machinery.
    You'll take tamsulosin once a day, usually in the morning after breakfast or the first meal of the day.
    The main side effects of tamsulosin are feeling dizzy and problems when ejaculating (such as little or no semen).
    Alcohol can increase the blood pressure-lowering effect of tamsulosin, which can make you feel dizzy or light-headed. It's best to stop drinking alcohol until you see how the medicine affects you.

    My doctor's advice is to take tamsolin 0.4 one tablet after dinner, before bedtime. I take 3.more medicaments for lifetime, irribitsan rosuvastatine and cardiprine.
    What's your advice fof me, Doctor.

    I was prescribed this. Nothing works for me. If anything it makes it worse. I threw it out and now just praying natural remedies and teas help. I wouldn’t wish this on anybody and I’m worried I will have to live the rest of my life like this. I can’t enjoy anything as much as I use to 😢

      Same here, made it worse! Major lifestyle change is the only solution. Of course my urologist didn't suggest this route.

    Hii doctor does it (tamsulosin 0.4)takes 6 weeks to show working on chronic non bacterial prostatitis
