A Solo Journey: Crafting Ski and Fitness Videos Without a Crew
Welcome to a behind-the-scenes glimpse of my journey, a tale of passion, resilience, and dedication and Maybe a bit of a Rant.

In this video, I take you through the intricate process of creating content for my cherished subscribers, focusing on my two greatest loves: skiing and strength conditioning.
Unlike many, I navigate this journey solo, without a camera crew, capturing every moment through my lens, against the breathtaking backdrop of nature and within the walls of my gym, The Edge Strength and Conditioning.
Operating solo has its challenges, but it's a testament to what dedication, creativity, and a bit of ingenuity can achieve.
I manage everything from setting the perfect shot on the ski slopes to demonstrating the precision of strength training techniques, all to bring you content that's both informative and inspiring.
However, it's come to my attention that there's been some chatter, questioning my credentials and my dedication to my crafts.
As a Canadian ski instructor and a strength and conditioning expert with over 20 years of experience, I stand firm in my expertise and commitment to both fields. My aim is not only to share my knowledge but to also continuously learn and grow.
The world of skiing and fitness is vast, filled with incredible instructors from whom I've learned much and hope to learn more. While criticism can be constructive, disrespect within our community only hinders growth and learning.
I believe in building a positive, supportive community where we uplift each other, share knowledge, and celebrate our journeys, regardless of whether we walk them alone or with support.

    So.. Got a bit of grief the other day from one of my videos. How to make a parallel turn. Now not exactly sure what I was getting wrong, because as I am a CSIA 2/3 instructor. But apparently, my information was all wrong?? Maybe because I said about pivoting.. You HAVE to pivot or rotate your inner ski to bring it parallel to the outer ski. For some people, it comes easy, and for some, it takes a little more time, in that way I will say about flattening the inner ski and steer it in.. But I was taught the CSIA way and from the image you can see that the second point is "Pivot = Turning is led by the Lower Body" So technically I am not wrong But no matter who we are or how we got taught everyone will teach in a slightly different way.. As long as the client/student is - Safe - getting good instruction - Not getting injured - and Happy and Having Fun... Then Why...???

    i've done it, with a loop which rotate, and tried what you demonstrate. it was not easy to find a loop, because the screw is not common. now 2016, have you tried other combinaitions or like me created exercices alone with the half bar ???

    @mhm343 Thanks for you message... Its no worries.. I was fully aware that my form was not great.. But I videoed that late at night, Plus Camera was on a wall.. It did fall off once,,lol When i get more time and someone to hold camera I will do a much better video, with other different movement patterns..
