I have this bike (2024 model) and I can safely tell you that so far (over 700 km) I haven't had any of the problems mentioned in the video. Right after I ordered the bike, I watched this review and wondered if it was really worth it. I can tell you that for the price and quality, this bike has no analogue. Extremely fast, not for beginners, I have developed 115 km/h with off-road tires. The battery can withstand 80km of driving at full throttle (72v 60Ah). As a side note, I should note that the suspension is quite soft for jumping.

I got a test drive on a Moon Bike up by Brighton in Utah. It was a tremendous disappointment. I think only people who have never been on a snowbike or snowmobile and only go on flat fairly dense snow would enjoy this machine. I have had several snowbikes. Including a little tiny Ruffian. I have had several different brands of electric bikes as well. Don't buy a Moonbike.

This will kill off 50cc and 125cc moped and motorcycles who need cbt training quicker than cancer and especially will come into its own when 125’s production is stopped in 2030 / this is tue future of commuting if road legal. No cbt bs. 55mph lets say. Remove batt and charge ev night like ur phone. Easy to puck up and keep inside. I am very interested

I guess it's probably not enough range for a hare scramble, but it seems sufficient for most trail riding. On trail ride days my hour meter usually shows 2 hours or less of engine running time, even though we might be in the woods all day.

I have the Ludacris model and I’m having constant problems with it shutting off for no reason and won’t go again. I’ve seen other Ludacris models have the same problem. Has anyone figured out how to solve it?

Was about to buy one of these but 8500$ for 40 minutes of riding than have to charge for 4 hours unless your 60 years old and ride at 30 mph 😂

Definitely needs more battery, add that weight, you won’t feel it in motion, just like everyone says about the Varg

2 mins in and it looks sweet but they definitely aren’t the Varg team, they would have been right on it fixing the chain when he mentioned the chain needed tightening but they just bushed it off basically, just deal with it.

Very interested in an Ultra Bee for trail riding and if possible, supermoto track days with some 17” wheels. Will the battery/motor overheat on an asphalt/dirt supermoto track during a western USA summer track day? I can’t seem to find any info on anyone doing any SM kart track riding with these but that seems like it would be a ton of fun. I’d rather not have to deal with another gas bike and all the track prep that goes with it and have done some track days in NY on a Zero FXS that was a lot of fun. I got a few temperature warnings on the hotter summer days but never went into limp mode. Had a generator and pit power to keep it charged up between sessions which seemed to work fine. Interested to hear any thoughts or experience with an Ultra SM doing track days.

The only problem I see is the customization part. With an internal combustion motorycle you can change out the front and rear sprocket for each riders preference. Than there's the choices of upgradable parts that a mechanical bike has thats not available. than there's the multiple batteries you have you carry around. Than there's the over heating part. traditional bikes you can run them all day without over heating but with electric bikes if you over heat the battery you're done for the day. There's a lot advantages with electric bikes but the industry needs another decade to really catch up to internal combustion engines.

Can you also create a category for best track bike/ or bike that can be ridden hard then have its battery swapped to get more laps

I have modded my UB suspension & chassis including an EXT shock & vastly improved stock forks .. the thing is though ; even with better suspension, that short 53.5" wheelbase is still the limiting factor for negotiating rough terrain with any kind of sure-footedness. On the right kind of trail ; tight & relatively smooth, the thing is quite the weapon with its instant boost out of corners & that dual piston LH rear brake. Brilliant in fact. The best money spent so far on the UB other than 18/21 wheel set ; that cheesy KKE steering damper. Transforms the bike in stability wise with no agility penalty.

For everyone talking about the split link in the chain, they are installed in the opposite direction of chain rotation, larger more powerful motorcycles run riv links 😅😂

Go down a tooth on the counter sprocket, it's like adding 2 to the rear. Might even be able to go down 2 without needing a different chain.

Sure would be nice, if you could just put some DID dirt star, or excel wheels on them, with a standard ktm axle size.
