Ma ,nonostante che il tuo inglese sia buonissimo, al madrelingua si sente un accento "europeo", non è un accento proprio americano. Ci sono tanti vocali in inglese, e l'utilizzo dei vari vocali è difficilissimo, sapere pronunciare le tre "a" diverse nel nome "Manhattan", ad esempio.

I’m glad to be italian descend! When I visited italy i’ve been really well treated! And here in the UK whenever I meet some italian person they’re always very nice as well! I would never change a single drop of my blood and heritage!

You would find more Italian speakers in Little Italy San Diego. There are Italian immigrants still moving to San Diego which is incredible. The Italian speakers have either passed or moved to the suburbs out of NYC

So, a substantial part of this presentation is aimed at Big Pharma than about the consequences or benefits of a free market. 9:49 Sugar was once labour-intensive. Socialist would have kept it that way for labourers and the price of sugar would have been high. Sugar would only be experienced by the rich. Industrialization brings down the cost of labour to make the product or the commodity far less expensive. Labour workers eventually found other work to give their time to. (You can read "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt to get a better understanding of economics and the effects of industrialization)

I believe one can host for up to two nights and later extend the stay if the couchsurfer is compatible and follows house rules. I dont acccept copy/paste request anymore. I value my time and now screen more . CS is free but surfers can help out doing simple chores and picking up after themselves. Also I like to know whom am I hosting, so I ask for their real names not the nicknames they use in the profile after all they are entering my home, using my IP address and living in it. I also tell them to limit their cell phone use at the dinning table, I have kids and teach them to value this time more. Every traveler and host is different so we learn a little more as we go. I also stopped looking at this video after the comment about bike helmets. It comes across like a certain ex-president saying he didn’t think wearing a mask during the pandemic was a good look. Come to Melbourne or Sydney Australia’s little Italy and you will get a lot that speak Italian…

Europeans don't get this but in America "I'm Irish" means my ancestors are from Ireland. I'm Italian means my ancestors are from Italy. "I'm German" means my ancestors are from Germany. But there are exceptions. "I'm Mexican" likely means I'm from Mexico because "I'm Mexican-American" means my ancestors are from Mexico. Also, what do you say when you are actually *from* Ireland? Duh! You say "I'm from Ireland."
