Ok, so, I have an older dog that uses the bells. A puppy that will "touch" on que. Next is the bells but i also leave them out all the time for our older dog. I'm not sure how this will work. Anyone have any advice?

I have a question, how did you start this training? Like what steps did you start with? Did you just put a towel down and waited till she put her chin down or did u use your hand as a target first?

Is there a reason you don't want it to turn into tug? I've used this in my training but use the "tug" as the reward for a while until we can do shorter bursts. Love discussing theory with fun training techniques!! Definitely not questioning your technique just pondering it! :)

What kind of dog is this? We have a rescue dog and this looks like her fully grown up. We thought she was a rott mutt/mix but she looks exactly like this pup.

I have a 8wk old pup that my older dog just attacked after fair warning near his food...he is healed and good, but that made me realize this issue, he didnt hear any warning growls... He's a foster, but a pitty, so thank god the local recuse group here in Belize got him from the vendor, because I dont want to think what would happen to a pitty that cant hear threats. I will follow your videos and figure out how to give him his best life, thank you so much!

I have a new puppy, I take him out in the morning and at night to go pee. When I put puppy pads down he does pee on them. I put his leash on him so I can clean up poop messes not made on the pads. When I take the leash off he will go directly away from the pee pad and pee on the floor right in front of me!!!😡 I swear I believe he is being spiteful that I put him on the leash.

Ma'am you are amazing! I had been trying for a week or so doing what you said in the beginning was not good. Took these little steps with rewarding him each time you drop the bowl a bit more with a piece of food and 5 minutes later the bowl was on the floor and he wasn't jumping. He's a good boy he just needs the proper steps and guidance!

This video showed up right on time as I have the same issue with my dog wanting to wolf down his food in seconds. He does wait for me to put the bowl down. I will try this with him and see if this can calm him down. When I got him he didn't know how to sit or walk on a leash at all. I suspect it will help if I stay consistent.

My abusive ex husband and the environment has harmed my Daughters dachshund. We had a rescue that tried to dominate and kill him. He had to be put down. Now Dexter barks at everything and goes after ppl and mainly male dogs. He does not like excitable people or things. My Daughter is putting him into training as it has become horrible for all of us. My fiancé moved in with a 4 year old golden doodle that is harmless but very excitable. We have to use a Baskerville on him when we have him out. He still charges at after the doodle like he wants to attack him. He has been damaged like the rest of us. I hope this training will help him. He is her everything but no one wants to share a living space with her in college when he’s like this. He’s a sweet dog otherwise. Just always high anxiety. I pray this works.

This is the most annoying thing when we are walking our dog. The other approaching dog owner places them on sit and waits for us to pass. My question is why wouldn't you just keep walking to keep the distraction time as short as possible? What happens when TWO dog owners who practice this behavior meet on the path? Stop it. Its annoying. Just keep walking.

Just found out our 6m old English bulldog is either deaf or hard of hearing. We noticed she doesn’t react to sound like our other dogs. She doesn’t even react to their barking. This will be so helpful getting her trained ❤
