I think this missed out on a lot of points of ingame progression or things you should unlock. Although sun spells and shadow spells were mentioned, the emphasis didn’t feel significant enough to be remembered as a milestone in the story. Avalon for example opens up mass prisms, which are almost vital staples to have. Wizard City also has the Pet Pavillon and Bazaar which are essential for every player and should have earned it a higher rank. Though you said it was worse after their remaster, I think Wizard City looks a lot better than classic; it isn’t the classic we know, but as a returning player, it gives me more nostalgia from when I was a kid than classic does, feeling the very well tuned lighting in the shopping district, and all the beams of light in ravenwood recreates the feelings I had as a kid; moreso than seeing the exact same 2009 textures on a better computer.

Wow. I don't agree with this assessment at all. Complaining about an arc because it's long, I don't understand. Dasein is the worst and ARC 4 is a confused, convoluted, fussy mess. The art, the story, the self-important dialogue---it's all too much and Dasein was in it way too much and I did not care about him or his story or his dumb "self-discovery" journey at all. Also, Karamelle was overly silly and hard to take seriously at all. The stakes in it are low, the social commentary is hack-ish, the characters ridiculous. To call Khrysalis tedious but not Empyrea... come on man. Empyrea gave us the godawful Whirlyball and the absolute worst gear grind of any world. ARC 1 ftw.

If your only criticism of Arc 2 is "Arc 2 long" I honestly can't take your criticism seriously. Yes, it is long. It's also good. Arc 1 is the GOAT, obviously, but Arc 2 gets way too much hate.

I may note that a subtle difference when it comes to the side missions in Wizard101 vs the side missions in Pirate101 is that in Wizard101 they're all basically "We need help with this and thank you for helping us and doing good" Meanwhile in Pirate 101 they're all basically "We need help and we'll reward you if you do help" showing how the Wizard is someone who genuinely wants to help people meanwhile the Pirate is just a mercenary.

I have beef with Cool Ranch, I got hard stuck in a dungeon when I was like 9 and never got past it. I was a stupid little kid who had no strategy so it was partially my fault, but god damn I hated those stupid scorpions

Four sentences as to why this world sucks Too long story lines, along with bosses being hard and WW gear somewhat failing you due to the spike. Bad NPC Zen zen seven star who downright stalls the storyline and for what? So we can follow her culture or some crap. And the ending of how it concluded along with there being double bosses sprinkled in here and there, and the potential for them to be dual school. Also this is the world you have to tower shield spam in first round as bosses will often take off 700-800 round one

Really cannot wait for the rest of my Wizards to witness their new professors when they eventually reach the Arcanum!

Just finally finished my Darkmoor grind and I just wanna comment on a few things. (Oh also I've been farming for about 2 weeks, on and off, bc I kept getting bored after like, 5 runs, and went off to quest... In all I say it took about... 30-40 runs to finally get everything? I had insanely bad luck.) 1) Hi, I'm someone who got to Darkmoor with Bazaar gear. How, you ask? Idfk, I never thought about grinding for gear before, I've been very casual and lazy with this game since I was a kid. Now that I have it, though, it is quite nice. But I didn't wanna grind for new gear before since I was already so close to lvl100 and it wasn't worth the time. I got through Darkmoor using team-up and I let the ppl know beforehand that I'm new, have never done this dungeon before, but that I have the cheats open on my phone. Thankfully the group was very understanding and were an AMAZING group! 2) Thankfully I've never gotten anyone who kills the boss without you, we always stalled until the person came back if they died. Not a single person 3) I've actually never had anyone actually assign what people are gonna do. Everyone volunteered. Except right before Yevgeny, we would usually compare hit stats and whoever had the highest number, regardless of school, was the hitter. I often volunteered as buffing and secondary hitter. 4) Okay I did have a bad run where everyone said they were doing the full dungeon, we fought Yevgeny, I went on to Shane, waited.... everyone left Thankfully I only had one more runner in all of my runs, and the rest of us was able to the rest of the dungeons. Besides that, we always ask who is doing the full dungeon, who just needs Yevgeny, and if whoever just needs Yevgeny are willing to do the full dungeon. If they don't, we just all accept we're just doing Yevgeny if we feel we can't do the rest. Besides a few runners, I had a decent time. They're just tedious battles. Maybe people have just gotten more chill about Darkmoor in the 3 years since this video was posted. Either that or I got insanely lucky with who I teamed up with.

Gradually climbing the mountain and getting closer to the dragon titan is still the coolest aspect of the world to me. It's also a constant reminder of what will happen to every world in the spiral if you fail to stop Malistaire. No other world does anything like this (besides Azteca with Xibalba, but I think it would be cooler if Xibalba got closer and closer as you progressed through the quests).

People like arc1 for nostalgia , krok marley and mushu are sooo bad and old People like arc3 because bohoo ots shorter and easier than arc2 , while arc3 is so short and so boring .

I know it’s been 3 months, but you’re not the only college student that plays wiz that is also dealing/had dealt with some anxiety/depression. I can relate over here. I’ve just been getting back into the game after about 5 years and this channel has been a trip down memory lane filled with nostalgia. Making me miss playing this game in elementary/middle school without a care in the world.

OMG FINALLY THANK YOU!!!!!! God literally everyone always votes ice last, and it’s literally because they don’t understand how ice works. You actually understand it’s a defensive school that takes patience and strategizing when questing, which in my opinion makes it fun. I’m glad you understand how fun ice can be. It’s a tank school, it’s designed to be long lasting in battle

As an ice main, Grizzleheim/Wintertusk is the bane of my existence lmao. But I still love it, I love the Viking Norse aesthetic, and the music is incredible
