I also learned about it from my brother as well. I started off playing pirate 101 remembered when I got to cool ranch man as a kid there was no better feeling than being a cowboy in the Wild West lol. After at the Time when the max was 65 for a while. Tried wizard 101 and started off making a life character and man life back then to solo was a grind but man those memories would not change it for the world. I remembered the day I finally got that 8 pip forest lord I was so relieved lol. Both games have such a big impact on your childhood it’s crazy. Time goes by fast when your having fun
Interesting, I had a very similar way of discovering this game. My older sister’s friend got her into it, and I’d also watch her play it. Also the same thing with spending a while just fighting the Kraken with no membership (till I got to level 15). By the time my parents paid for a membership, my sister was bored of the game. But shoutout to Madeline Winterflower, my first character who played (you guessed it) balance. I actually rage-deleted that character since I couldn’t make it past Emperor’s Retreat lmao when I was 10 or so. Then I proceeded to make a storm and rage-delete the whole account after losing to a mob fight over and over again in Celestia. Picked up the game again right when Covid began.
Funny thing was my mom was actually the one who found the game. This was way back before arc 2 even started. I come home from elementary school and we had this shared little laptop I remember coming home, doing my homework as per usual when my mom logs off the computer and hands the laptop to me. She tells me about this game she found and she played it a bit and thought I would like it too. I remember making my first wizard, taking the test actually seriously with no prior knowlege of this game. I became an ice wizard named Jack NightFlame. The rest was history. My old account got hacked so I'll never get him back but with my new account i continue to to play on and off to this day. This game has been with me for quite literally half my life and I will never forget my time in the spiral and all the joy its given me.
This is so adorable. I saw this game on a tv add and introduced my little sisters. We also had to share a computer, but years later we finally got to quest together. Turns out, we do not work great as a team lol. But it's still my favorite game. Love your vids.
Another interesting entry a.k.a FormalPhantom! This time, something different, and omg, you brought back some memories for when i got into this game. I remember that seven years ago, i was a kid and my best friend told me in a day :"Hey, you should try it out this game. You will love it". That was so random, becasue it was the first time when he did reccomended a game to me. I was like:"okay". And, from that day on, i started my adventure with this game. I loved everything about it, the aspect, the graphics, the Npc's, the whole magical theme etc. I remember that the first three months i couldn't afford a membership, as going to my parents asking them for money would've been weird, considering that it would've been the first time i ever did this. I was just wandering around Commons or Shoppind district and just staring at the people who came by. I literally played every morning, until my parents were going to work, just to fight some monsters( even if i was not "allowed" to play at that time on pc as a kid:)))) ). After three months, i took the courage to ask my mom for a one month membership. I showed her the game and she also seemed ok with it. When i got the first month of member, i went to my best friend to tell him the good news and brought ourselves a cofee, which was a big thing back then for us( it was like a premium bottle of vodka right now😂. ) . I felt like i received my baccalaureate diploma, thats the feeling i had when i had my first member. And from that day on, i continued playing, learning the ins and outs of this game. I came to a point when i knew everything about it, even with my eyes closed. Now, i am a retired player for almost a year, but who knows when i will get back to this game :) Until then, i keep watching your vids, which always give me flashbacks on the best moments i had with this game. As you mentioned in the video, this game was literally the game of my childhood.

I got my first computer when I was in 5th grade (2015) and discovered the game through some ads. I didn’t have an older brother so I didn’t have someone to introduce it to me. Since I only played the f2p areas, I grew bored real quickly. Move forward to 2020 November. I decided to give the game a try and eventually decided to start playing again. Funny thing, the thing that got me to purchase a membership was one of your videos. Ever since then, I’ve become quite well known in the wizard in community and made lots of friends.
I STARTED CUZ MY SISTER LMAOOOO Edit : about the actualy story, I waited 10 years and a half behind the paywall. This year us my 12th year of playing. The way my interest survived is by watching blazelifehammer's and Zenmasterblue's walthroughs and videos, since they were the ones that gave me hope that one day I'll be able to get to max lvl, lvl 100. If u wonder why I couldn't pay, even though it's only 10 dollars, it's because my currency is 10x lower which means the price id 10x higher. 100 bucks for a single month is kind of a lot. I can relate to your brother who quit, but mind u I never ever quited the game. Just stayed farming the Kraken. Saw fishing get added, skeleton keys, ultra pet lvl... And of course... I always wondered what the door hides. Now new players can't experience cuz they don't actually see a door but a cave with a dend-end.
I got into Wiz because of the son of someone my family knew. He would come over like a day a week w his computer and play it and I would watch him, then he noticed I was watching and asked if I wanted to play a few minutes, and in those few minutes i got really interested and my mom ended up buying it for me. Bro I ligit got into it by my brother, we had one laptop he played on and I dont think at that time I ever saw a computer video game before that time so I would watch and then made my acc that I use today
