In Battle Course 3, and Cookie Land's Balloon Battles, we pop up to 30 balloons each team! It's crazy!

For rotating minigames I use the thumb for Cast Aways, and Paddle Battle. But Tug o' War, and Pedal Power are really hard.

good to know that I actually got all bosses, just never got the forever train ending because being young and not understanding english meant that i never knew that the locks were a thing

I've always loved the ending to this game, thinking Fox dies and then James shows up and leads you to safety and then disappears into the galaxy somewhere because he can't be assed to actually be there for Fox any other time lol. It's always made me laugh but I love it regardless, plus the VA for James did a damn good job. Was kind of hoping in later games Fox would have a voice similar to that but alas.

I played the absolute crap out of star fox as a kid got all the medals even on expert, could fly through missions with style and it wasnt until this video did i find out that you could fly INTO the great fox 22:50. Thanks for that. Im almost tempted to dig the n64 out of the closet and try it

Even though this game was pretty much for kids. Looking back some of these bosses and levels were nightmare fuel. Some of them were legitimately creepy.

Watched your trilogy playthrough until the very end man. I have to say I never got to know as a kid how the evil witch finally met her end after she survived the final battle. Actually going through the final credits and reading the old Insomniac team thanking us for playing they’re trilogy of 4 sleepless years in development, seeing the very final message of the codex thanking us for playing, saying they’ll miss us at 7:39:52. It feels like the child inside me got to peer through and finally see what came of it all, knowing that “We’ll miss you” really meant something. The closing to an era that stays with all of us. Thanks for showing your gameplay with all of us ❤

When I found the rainbow course cheat by bouncing off the side… you have to jump and fly off from pink ground spot I remember.. and cutting half the course that was Fun! You could literally lap people on the rainbow course.. lol

64 had SUCH a flair for the dramatic. In its cutscenes and use of VA, as said earlier, but also in gameplay and sound design. I'm thinking of one specific touch right now: on the killing hit against a boss, you get that cool high-pitched whistle-like sound and the boss music immediately cuts out, making way for the win dialogue and dramatic kaboom. It's seamless, it's satisfying, and in true shmup fashion, it communicates the end of the gameplay sequence immediately and effectively.

I was almost about to get a star rank on missions 7, but i always get an A rank on 7-4.......😡
